Just found your channel, looks like a great start. You haven’t explained to UA-cam land what your plans are for this yacht. Short term vs long term. Good to see that you already have solar panels, a Monitor wind vane and a Water maker. Get the water maker working for more freedom. Please remember you’re in a confined space when using marine paints and making fine sanding dust. A proper 3M respirator will save your lungs rather than silly fabric masks. Hope to see you head south to perhaps the Sea of Cortez. Watching from NZ👍👍

Thanks for looking out for us, we have definitely learned we need to take better care when working with the toxic boat paints etc. We’re heading south this fall down to Mexico - end goal is to make it back to Aus (where Mick hails from). Oh my goodness. Looking at this was funny compared to your last video of the Marquesas Is. What a journey for you all. I was looking for a video of preparing a boat for cold weather sailing. Mostly how to deal with condensation. That may well be an equal issue in the tropics. Have you ever covered this or considered such a topic?

Just discovered your channel and I couldn't click subscribe fast enough. You guys seem like real, down to earth people. I love the galley remodel. I'm getting ready to do ours. After 7 months is the contact paper and stick on tiles holding up? I wonder if the heat of summer caused any issues. Anyway, love you boat and your channel and can't wait to finish binge watching all your episodes. Happy Sails.
Heyyy! Stoked to have you along for the ride. The galley is holding up extremely well - I didn’t have any expectations but I’ve been blown away with how it’s held up. The counter hasn’t lifted or anything at all (Mick did caulk the edges for me so I think that’s helped). The backsplash has some very minor teeny lifting at the corners of the “grout” from cleaning but it’s sooo minor and I think I’m the only one that notices haha.
