Maybe it is because Sara on the start , worked really hard , to get to prom? Julie did nothing to deserve that , she was only pitied cause of her broken leg🤨
@@maryread343 Perhaps. In this video, she seems antagonistic, but is that actually Sara's mental health going downhill, and is she possibly hallucinating how Julie is behaving? Was Julie actually intending to go for the Prom Queen title at all, or was she just put forward by those that wanted Sara put out? The other murdered girls, Patricia, Raquelle, Anne, Mariana, Quiara and Eunice, were all just as likely to win that title. Was Julie truly in the lead, or is it, again, Sara's mind playing tricks? What I got was Sara wasn't actually after the Prom Queen title at all. It was the love of her father. How I interpreted it: The word "Mom" is emphasised by Sara's father. It makes me think that Sara's mother died when she was a young girl - Sara's father met her mother at school, and she WAS the Prom Queen. He fell hook, line and sinker for this girl. They married after leaving college, had Sara and then Mom died. Sara's father was obviously devastated, but rather than support his daughter and show actual love for her, he sought to turn her into a facsimile of his late wife. He pushes her and pushes her into being this perfect being, when he doesn't want Sara at all. He wants his wife, the perfect Prom Queen, hence the very cruel line "there's just no hope for a PRINCESS at Prom!" (In a bitter irony, Sara/Sarah is the word for "Princess" or "High-Ranked Woman" in Hebrew.) As a result of this behaviour, Sara snaps, and this is what causes her final descent into a murderous rage. The sad thing is, Sara never got what she wanted truly... her father's love. Instead, she has a criminal record, is criminally insane, and has lost EVERYTHING. Her father is left unpunished for his mental and emotional cruelty towards his own daughter. There are many posters that have said HE was the true villain of the story, with Sara being a tragic villainess. Had Sara's father not been such a pushy POS, Sara would have possibly grown up normally, leaving school and going to college with her boyfriend and her friends (who she'd thrown away as a result of her madness - I don't think personally that Julie stole Sara's boyfriend. Instead, Sara dumped him as he was holding her back from fulfilling her father's wishes. Several videos I've seen show the boyfriend saying he's worried about Sara, why won't she get in touch etc, before he decides she's a lost cause, and he takes Julie to the Prom instead). She then would have had a life as a young adult in her own right.

Right!! I think her hair actually partially represents her mental state. It begins all well maintained and glossy, then when rumors claim Julie might win, Sara tugs at her hair. Her dad also brushes her hair as he tells Sara she'd better win to make them proud. Then at 2:09 when her sanity "was hung by a thread," and her boyfriend tells her he's going with Julie, there are lots of stray strands and fly-aways. Then when it gets cut short it's sort of like the point of no return. And even after it is cut, in all her glamorous and insane delusions of being prom queen, it's still long and silky. I also noticed somebody mentioned that it was interesting how she and Julie needed with similar haircuts. I don't have an analysis for that but it's an interesting observation!

I really like how in the end she's shown to have visited Sara at the hospital, really driving home that she is just a good person. You could argue that look at the end was meant to show that she was actually what Sara saw her as, though I'm fairly certain that was just in her head again.

I feel that way too, because partway through, julie is still shown with both legs rather than the one leg. I think from that point on, the "Julie" being shown is a mashup between reality and delusion, and at 4:12, where she is shown looking at Sara through the screen, that's the moment when Sara's psyche completely broke and then on she was hallucinating Prom Queen Julie. I adore this artstyle- I’m not even gonna say it’s been a year,I’m just in love with the idea of Julie being antagonistic, like she’s just milking her loosing a leg instead of being actually kind.
Okay so my interpretation is this one: Julie's appearance isn't actually that one. I don't know if this was intentional or a mistake, but she has both legs, when one of them was amputated. Not only that, but when they cut Sarah's hair, she looks a lot like Julie. I interpret this, plus the evil smiles Julie had, as Sarah looking at Julie like a monster, like a b*tch who is going to steal her crown, and without realizing it, she becomes that monster.
I love how you made Julie out to be the bad guy in this animatic. I also loved how during the clip with the newspapers one of the headlines is “not guilty?” It really just shows the Julie wanted Sara to end up like. Srry but ALSO Julie having the crown, scepter, and sash at the end instead of Sara, and Julie having both legs and sitting in the wheel chair she used to trick everyone into thinking she really was an amputee was such an amazing touch. Great job!!
Wait though. Some of you make a really good point. This is one of the only animatic where you don’t actually see Sara doing any killing per se. What if it was a set up from Julie and that’s why Sara seems so distressed in the end when she is tied up and can’t speak, and maybe why some newspaper say “not guilty”. And Julie comes to see Sara in the end. Wearing the crown she wanted so much, maybe to gloat. I mean Julie made the call and mimed a dead symbol. Like she knew that Sara was going down and seemed happy about it. Think about it. We see murder scenes and in between some scene depicting Sara, making us think Sara did it, just like Julie wanted. I mean who calls the police smiling and reporting a murder. Sara was just a bit deranged by her father and got set up by a twisted girl who wanted her down... I don’t know, I might be over analyzing ahah.
everytime I hear this song I'm always just "tch! that amputated bich" And when the "by calling the cops" "what a bich" line comes in , I'm just "I know right?"
How is this not more famous yet??? The art style is so fresh and great, and it was clear how much thought and dedication was put into each single frame. You're so, so very talented, and I loved on take on the song! Please keep up with the great work, your videos are pure art!! ✨🤩❤️
There’s a plot twist I never thought of until now. That Julie actually killed those people and framed Sara, making Sara insane because Sara didn’t do it.
You know what I love about this? In most animatics, they show Julie with her leg gone. But in this one we don't see it at all, making it really ambiguous as to whether or not Julie that Sara sees IS real or not. The fact that in the end, Julie is shown with both her legs with the rose makes you wonder more like this is Nina and Lily from Black Swan. I could say that the leg is a prosthetic (cause hey that can happen) but to Sara, we just see someone who is trying to get the crown and steal it from her. Again, going to the Nina/Lily analogy, Nina thinks Lily is trying to take her position as the White Swan but we know that in the end that Lily is actually being SUPPORTIVE of it all. But here, we see Julie gaslighting(?) Sara and making it seem like the former princess was going insane and she didn't have to lift a finger to see Sara's reputation burn.
So the theory that Julie killed the girls and pinned it on Sara. It fits well for this version of the animatic but also this line: "I'm taking Julie to prom. Love, love Julie." Love Julie?! As in the text wasn't actually sent by Sara's boyfriend. It was sent by Julie on purpose to break Sara even further. That combined with Julie smiling while calling the cops, Julie being present when the head was found while Sara wasn't and the newspapers saying "not guilty".
Conspiracy theory. Julie secretly killed the girls to get on the lead and had Sara do it so that Sara would go to prison and Julie would get the game and publicity
This is so beautifully done! I love how Julie was portrayed as the the bad guy through Sara's mind, and how the only colors were the red. Also, I love the back and forth at 0:23
I'm a bit confused since I know that Sara killed all her former "Friends" in the song but in this animatic to me it feels like that Julie did it and made it so that Sara was always nearby and at the end she called the cops, turned everything on Sara and mocked on her tv through the Interview - was this the intention? I really love this Animatic tho it's so detailled and emotional, good work!!
Why didn't i see this masterpiece earlier! I found your All you wanna do animatic a few months ago and i fell in love with your art style. I love that everything is so detailed and clean, unlike a lot of other animatics i've seen.
at 2:44Julie has both her legs, and i know it was prob and accident of the artists side but because i like to look into things, further digging on the fact that this Julie is just a figment of Sara’s imagination i think the reason she has both legs is because Sara is hallucinating this whole encounter is happening so because she cares more about beating Julie and her getting the crown she doesn’t care to remember the actual reason Julie is getting the votes, her injury. so when she’s imagining Julie the way she is, she’s forgetting about her leg being missing. (i know this is seriously reaching but meh)
I find it funny that a LOT of people believe Julie to be the killer or twist killer. Even with visuals, the song said that Sara had pushed everyone of her friends and boyfriend aside for one goal alone, prom queen. Even the little comment after Julie calls the cops is an indication of Sara's thoughts on Julie stopping her master plan. The song itself is vague with Julie's depiction and personality and anytime she's addressed, she's viewed as a bad apple coming to take Sara's "claim" to prom queen. If the song was able to fool you enough into believing Sara is the innocent girl corrupted by her father, even before he's mentioned, (like I said before), Sara had 'CLAIMED' prom queen her right and the whole 'Julie is winning prom queen' was simple gossip (again the song says this itself, Sara took it as fact instead of focusing on building herself) Leading me to believe that the whole song is a retelling by Sara, it's constantly chanted, "Check Sara, Vote Sara" as if she is the only one running and everyone's top choice. Her father (not correct for his words in the slightest) merely pushed her to grab a title she had already claimed for herself. SHE chose to push people away SHE viewed Julie (multiple time in the song) as a bitch SHE chose to kill people that she distanced herself from and saw as standing in her way. She never killed her "boyfriend", not Julie because Julie saw what was going on and ended it. And before you say "oh, see she knew!" No, she didn't. The murders, (in regards to this animatic) happened leading to the days of prom, if Julie really knew all of the murders, the comment of "...bitch" wouldn't be necessary on top of that, Sara was going to kill someone else regardless, and Julie spoiled her fun. To finish this off, I do believe Sara's boyfriend had no ill intent, people seem to forget that Sara pushed him aside too, the song even states this. If anything, he probably left her but since she (an unreliable narrator/lead) believed from mere gossip that Julie was out for her birthright as prom queen, she believed her boyfriend now was take by Julie. Which we don't know since Sara's focus immediately switches to (from her father's comment) , 'lets just kill everyone and take the crown :/' Again, I do find it hysterical that people seem to believe Julie planned this, especially that even in the animatic, Sara's view of Julie is constantly distorted, from her going around walking, to her in a wheelchair or her limping. Which in toll, is the artist's interpretation of Julie's n Sara's characters. Sara is unreliable and the song is HER ballad.
My god. Extremely well done, so much detail. This is my favorite animatic so far. You bet I'm subscribing, this is an underrated channel. I pray that you get more attention!
I feel like this song is a commentary on how people are so obsessed with popularity and external approval that they'll stoop to animalistic levels to achieve it.

I mean, you gotta appreciate that she thought to kill everyone instead of just rigging the ballot like most people would think. Sara will go to all lengths to get what she wants and I admire that in a woman!
@@hugenerd97 Rigging the votes would easier and have less of a consequence, Sara was dumb for killing and should have either killed Julie or rigged the votes, or just lost and came in second and accepted that. Sara was obsessed and that’s not a good trait, I don’t respect her for being an obsessed, rich, petty snob who would kill 6 innocent people to get what she wanted
@@vanian420, dude I was joking
@@hugenerd97 And I was just explaining why it would be better to rig the votes 🧍♀️
@@vanian420, ok sorry for the confusion. You just seemed angry that I was saying you gotta admire Sarah’s drive to get what she wants and I wanted to let you know it was a joke
I adore this artstyle-
I’m not even gonna say it’s been a year,I’m just in love with the idea of Julie being antagonistic, like she’s just milking her loosing a leg instead of being actually kind.
Okay so my interpretation is this one:
Julie's appearance isn't actually that one. I don't know if this was intentional or a mistake, but she has both legs, when one of them was amputated. Not only that, but when they cut Sarah's hair, she looks a lot like Julie. I interpret this, plus the evil smiles Julie had, as Sarah looking at Julie like a monster, like a b*tch who is going to steal her crown, and without realizing it, she becomes that monster.
i love how you portrayed the characters here. this is gorgeous!
I've watched every single one of the Sara Berry animatics. I'm happy to say this one gets tossed onto the pile of ridiculously great work
I like how Julie is like on Tv “I’m just a silly girl terrified” knowing that Sarah is watching Tv in the moment
That's the first time I saw Julie being portraid as more antagonistic. Nice animatic!
THIS IS A MASTERPIECE, HOLLY GLOB!!!!! WHY THIS IS SO UNDERRATED!? AAAAA- I'M IN LOVE FOR YOUR ART STYLE!
Great job!!
I liked how you made Julie look bad, according to Sara's vision
I don’t know, I might be over analyzing ahah.
everytime I hear this song I'm always just "tch! that amputated bich"
And when the "by calling the cops" "what a bich" line comes in , I'm just "I know right?"
How is this not more famous yet??? The art style is so fresh and great, and it was clear how much thought and dedication was put into each single frame. You're so, so very talented, and I loved on take on the song! Please keep up with the great work, your videos are pure art!! ✨🤩❤️
Thank you so much!!!(*๓´╰╯`๓)♡
There’s a plot twist I never thought of until now.
It fits well for this version of the animatic but also this line:
"I'm taking Julie to prom. Love, love Julie."
Love Julie?! As in the text wasn't actually sent by Sara's boyfriend. It was sent by Julie on purpose to break Sara even further. That combined with Julie smiling while calling the cops, Julie being present when the head was found while Sara wasn't and the newspapers saying "not guilty".
2:45 omg she has 2 legs it’s a prom miracle
that julie is a hallucination tho, it isn’t the actual julie lol
@@lord_ozymandiasI was joking
.
o shit my bad i thought u were criticizing the artist lol
EXPLAIN TO ME WHY THERE IS ONLY ONE COMMENT ON THIS MASTERPIECE ! BEAUTIFUL!
IKR
You’re going to be happy now
Conspiracy theory. Julie secretly killed the girls to get on the lead and had Sara do it so that Sara would go to prison and Julie would get the game and publicity
I love your art style everything looks so clean and finished, its wonderful!!
WTH HOW DOES THIS ONLY HAVE 80 VIEWS ITS SO GOOOODDDDD!!
WOAH THIS IS SO GOOD!!
i really love your art style and how you showed her her hair getting messier as she went insane.
Ohm an the fact you made Julie a bad person gave me literal goose bumps
Add a whole new dimension to the song! AWESOME!
Sarah was the imposter
BAHSVSHAH
Your art is so wonderful! It's very good to see and as others have said: A MASTERPIECE💕💕
This is so beautifully done! I love how Julie was portrayed as the the bad guy through Sara's mind, and how the only colors were the red. Also, I love the back and forth at 0:23
this is beautiful! i’ve been obsessed with this song and this is PERFECT TIMING!!!
I can’t get over this song, it’s constantly stuck in my head...
OMG FINALLY SOMEONE USED THE "DOWN ON YOUR KNEES BEFORE THE QUEEN" BEFORE THE DEATHS AS JULIE TAKING OVER AND SARAH ON THE FLOOR
I like thinking that Julie being painted as the bad guy is just how Sara saw her.
AAAA this is such a cool animatic?? The art is beautiful, the style is amazing, the plot is flawless, I love it all!!!!!
I love the fact that everytime Julie looks at Sara it's as if she was ridiculing her , maybe it's Saras imagination or maybe not.
THIS ANIMATION IS FRIGGIN GORGEOUS ALDBAKDB THIS IS SO UNDERRATED 😍
Why didn't i see this masterpiece earlier! I found your All you wanna do animatic a few months ago and i fell in love with your art style. I love that everything is so detailed and clean, unlike a lot of other animatics i've seen.
OMG I saw you on Lofter today and I am positive that I am life is complete (melts into a pool of happiness)
Wow!!ヾ(Ő∀Ő )ノThank you so much!♡♡
Was literally listening to the song when the notification popped up for it
This is so beautiful!
I love the line art ahhhh this is so amazing I love the expressions and everything! 💖✨
Dang julie because like sarah-
at 2:44Julie has both her legs, and i know it was prob and accident of the artists side but because i like to look into things, further digging on the fact that this Julie is just a figment of Sara’s imagination i think the reason she has both legs is because Sara is hallucinating this whole encounter is happening so because she cares more about beating Julie and her getting the crown she doesn’t care to remember the actual reason Julie is getting the votes, her injury. so when she’s imagining Julie the way she is, she’s forgetting about her leg being missing.
If the song was able to fool you enough into believing Sara is the innocent girl corrupted by her father, even before he's mentioned, (like I said before), Sara had 'CLAIMED' prom queen her right and the whole 'Julie is winning prom queen' was simple gossip (again the song says this itself, Sara took it as fact instead of focusing on building herself)
Leading me to believe that the whole song is a retelling by Sara, it's constantly chanted, "Check Sara, Vote Sara" as if she is the only one running and everyone's top choice. Her father (not correct for his words in the slightest) merely pushed her to grab a title she had already claimed for herself.
SHE chose to push people away
SHE viewed Julie (multiple time in the song) as a bitch
SHE chose to kill people that she distanced herself from and saw as standing in her way.
She never killed her "boyfriend", not Julie because Julie saw what was going on and ended it.
And before you say "oh, see she knew!"
No, she didn't.
Which we don't know since Sara's focus immediately switches to (from her father's comment) , 'lets just kill everyone and take the crown :/'
Again, I do find it hysterical that people seem to believe Julie planned this, especially that even in the animatic, Sara's view of Julie is constantly distorted, from her going around walking, to her in a wheelchair or her limping.

THIS IS SO GOOD!!
THIS IS SO GOOD WTHHHHH
Come to think of it, we never explored what kind of person Julie was before her accident. She might have been another popular girl and Sara’s Rival
I'm surprised no one decided to write any fanfictions/stories regarding this song. It would be a really good read.
well these drawings took forever. crazy dedication
You predicted what I was watching...
this is beautiful!
omg this is so underated!! im in love with your art :ooooo
I feel like this song is a commentary on how people are so obsessed with popularity and external approval that they'll stoop to animalistic levels to achieve it.
Yoooooo this is so pretty, it’s amazing
Omg! this is so good! i love this and the art is so good!
This made the murders a lot more horrifying
OMG UNDERRATED WTH
Omg I love the idea of Julie setting up Sarah and actually being the psycho even tho that’s not the plot and just what Sarah is thinking in her twisted head
Woahh this is one of the best animatics ice seen of this song
I love how this shows how she was pushed into insanity!
HOW DOES THIS ONLY HAVE 2,000 VIEWS
Extremely underrated and tbh way better than the animations with millions of views. Good job.
