- President Biden addressed the nation Sunday from the Oval Office, a day after a gunman opened fire at former President Donald Trump while he was speaking at a rally in Pennsylvania, grazing his ear. A bystander was killed and two were critically wounded. Biden said earlier Sunday that he’s directing an independent review of the assassination attempt.

@@henrybyrd3920 - Because the local law enforcement didn't bother to cut off access to the building property, including the ladder on the side. It fell just outside of the Secret Service perimeter so was left to them to lock down. They bungled it.
Maybe the cops helped him???? New reporting says a cop was up there too before he starting shooting. Imagine that!! The whole thing seems very very suspicious. The interviews with ppl at the rally immediately after it happened were super revealing.

I'd like to think we can learn and grow from this. My grandparents when I was growing up had a lot of friends with different political and worldviews. They would tease each other and play cards while they drank coffee and do what ever old people do. They didn't agree about a lot of things but they enjoyed the conversations they would have and being in each others company. We are so far away from that now. I hope we can get back to that.
