hi, if I want the surface finish matte, could I use “Golden GAC 100 Primer Extender Acrylic Polymer Mediums with added water” as the sealer to seal the Kroma Crackle? After that i would like to use watercolor to finish the surface, is it doable? Thx a million!
Hi there! In our experience, KROMA Crackle works best when sealed with a mix of fluid/liquid acrylic medium and water, as this creates the right consistency to impregnate the crackle platelets. That said, you could definitely give it a try with diluted clear gesso. We'd be curious to hear how that works.

Beautiful! However, why is it, art art materials are so expensive in UK. When I lived in Oz I ordered from Dick Blick once and got lots of materials for less than half the price. So tired of being ripped off in this country!
so you dont have to do another paint layer on top of the crackling medium? I have just gotten a crackling medium and it only says to apply over dry paint, yet in other video's people are always painting another layer of paint over the medium for the crackles to appear. Im confused
Seems like a very good product however almost impossible to find anywhere. I did a search of about 2 hours. I found it at Curry's (out of stock) and amazon.ca (exorbitant price) Why is it not easier to get than this? Are you sure you want to sell the stuff?
What type or brand of clear acrylic medium are you using with this? Great video, thanks!
For larger projects the 500 ml jar is available in most stores. For small projects the 150 tube should keep you going.
Nice finish but how much does it cost to do that little bit. Seems you used a huge amount of product to do it.
Will this product hold up outdoors, assuming it is sealed properly? Thank you.

Please disregard my question...I replayed the video and saw the information about the acrylic medium at the end! Guess I didn't see it the first time.

Apply it over a painted surface, wait for it to crack...then add as much paint layers over top of that you like.
Can you use dry media, such as pastel?
Can I use this on cement?
