I've read the story of lourdes many times. Every time it touch me ,that story. The live of Bernadette. The misery, the pressure from all sides. The believers, the skeptics and the non believers. I been in Lourdes 4 and Medgugorje 5 times.
I one day want to make a pilgrimage to Lourdes! Thank you for the tour. My spiritual Disneyland! Maybe one day when I have the funds to go with my mother who is suffering from lung disease (she never smoked). Please pray for her healing. Lord, please heal my mother and send us to Lourdes somehow! All by in Your Hands!

I am traveling from London Heathrow to Toulouse and I need some information about getting from Toulouse Airport to Lourdes in France. Can you suggest the best mode of transportation and let me know if I need to book a local flight? Also, is there a train or bus available from Toulouse Airport to Lourdes?

For years now, my sister books our land transfers via MyDayTrip.com - it will even recommend what places you can stop over between your origin and chosen destination 👍🏼
My family and I travelled via car coming from San Sebastián. I would suggest doing the same as Toulouse is only 2hrs by car to Lourdes.
During our ride, we chose to do a couple of stop overs to random churches in small towns that were on the way. Sort of like a DIY pilgrimage from Spain to Lourdes, if you will.
So far we’ve never had any problems except for a few drivers who excel better than others.
Just sharing what my sister and I would suggest given the info you shared. Safe travels and God bless you ✨

Hello! May I inquire about the transportation from the airport to Lourdes? Please advise?
Sorry, we didn’t come from the airport. We booked a private transfer from Nice as we had come from Cannes.
Since it was quite a drive, we stopped by a couple of other places/churches to visit that were on the way as well.
Then we booked another private transfer from Lourdes to Biarritz.
These transfers either charge per way or for 4 or 8hrs then per hour overtime fees. My sister had researched private transfers on the internet.

The fact that aer lingus doesn't fly to lourdes anymore,only Ryanair flies to lourdes.

Would you recommend one or two days in Lourdes?
In our case, we arrived the night before. So we had a real full-on day, the next day. It wasn’t rushed at all, which made it more enjoyable. We did our own thing, while also doing things together. Then we left the morning after.
The season (end of March) we went wasn’t high season. So there wasn’t a high mass or a large crowd. These are two huge factors when planning your trip with regards to time (and enjoyment, in my opinion).
However, I truly think one full day is enough: visit shrine, bath, meals, mass, confession, house tour. It’s really up to you what your priorities are.

Just because some priest are bad it doesn't mean the teachings of the catholic faith is bad... Catholic church is the true faith , it is the church which was started by Jesus who died for your sins.... no other religion will save you.... Jesus loves you ... To Jesus through his mother mary ..the spouse of the holy spirit.
I don’t want to be annoying but as I go on pilgrimage to this place every year. You shouldn’t be speaking so loudly. How has someone not told you off yet I don’t know. There’s litterally signs on the gates and, signs everywhere
