I think it says a lot about Heath Ledger, not only as an actor but as a human being, that people were so torn because of his death. He didn't need to be our best friend for us to realize just how much he, his talent and amazing energy will be missed. I hope that wherever he is he knows that he is missed, every day.
We cannot deny the fact that playing the Joker really played a number on him. Playing a role that dark would affect anyone, especially taking it that far and that serious; resulting in an extraordinary acting.
I did a project for my Film History class about him, and about 80% of the sources I found say that he was not depressed (he was happily fathering a beautiful baby girl), and that it was one of those times when he took the pills as required, but later forgot that he took them, and took the same dose again. That happened to me with my allergy pills, and I had to go to the hospital. It's so sad that he had to go at his prime. RIP Heath Ledger
