- The wood siding on my house had a large crack in it which can lead to water intrusion, moisture intrusion, pests, etc. Sealing it up is imperative, as is sealing any exposed wood around your house! This method can be applied to any interior or exterior wood that's either rotted or is exposed. It can be used for the bottom of wood trim, gates, fences and other areas wood rot is common.
Keep in mind that I'm a little messy with this because I'm outside and don't really care about how it looks- more about how it functions. If you are making any repair inside or over anything that needs to be protected, you should use plenty of drop cloths and painters tape!

So I have a cabin up near Yosemite. It's subject to currently 105 last week. In winter time it gets down to the teens. Like you, I had a few spots I wanted to fix with a crack in my siding. The problem is the wood expand and contracts and the wood filler does not. The one that I found holds up the best seems to be the dap oil-based Dap school wood filler. It still has a slight crack around the filler and wood joint after expanding contracting. I think what I'm going to do is put some caulking in that crack so it can flex a little bit. Until as time comes to replace the siding.
Thank you for actually posting something constructive and intelligent, instead of making senseless insults like most of these folks. Digressing, that makes sense. I will look into that next time as I did not even consider it.
Bondo does not stick to painted surfaces very well
I’ll holler when it pops out 👍🏻
Best to skip to 1:50 unless you want some razor blade induced anxiety.
All I could think about was it slipping and going straight for the wrist😅
why you make videos being so amateurish?
Why are you anonymously commenting useless garbage on my videos when you don’t make any yourself?
@@TheDIYrealtor question was,"why"?
