What a pain of a job, no wonder you were glad to see the end of it. I just don't understand though (again). I know you want the work and we've discussed the battle and the war and I am with you on that but not to this extent. There is no way on earth I would have done all that for (near enough) the same price as originally quoted and all done in 2 days. In this case, I'd have told them it's going to cost more (even if it is a local school and your wife might know the the aunt of the dinner lady's next door neighbour (if you know what I mean). If they didn't want to pay more, unless I was near to sleeping on the streets, I'd have let someone else do it. Just being honest!

@@Plastersmurf74 It would have been apt, I'll give you that!!! That window wall is a wall from hell!! I'm guessing, that on my own, with beading, doing the window angles, getting round those pipes and sockets, 2/3 of the day would be used up just on that wall!! If someone dared say to me, "What have you been doing all day?", I'd have packed up and gone!! Rest of the day would be prep on anything else possible. I suppose, thinking about it, if it took 2 of you 2 days, 4 days for me on my own probably isn't far off. 4 days of pain though!!

    Sbr way better than pva

I use sbr for outside work. Sbr is some serious stuff, certainly does the job but for interior stuff I’d say it’s a bit over kill. I prefer pva inside for its versatility. 👍
