For attribution, you need to know the origin of the image. Something I don't see a provision for in this software. My method is to copy the image into a dedicated affinity photo document and copy the origin link into the description. So I have all the photos I'm using in one place with attribution information attached.
This would be the case if you're directly using the pictures however if you're using them as references then attribution isn't needed since you're still creating something of your own. But definitely attributing if you're using an image in your work is best practice 👍🏽
Ah, ok. I see now. For reference would be for drawing, colors, etc. Yes, I download images from Pixabay, where I don't have to give attribution, but I like to copy and save the member name so I can donate if I want to. PR can't help with that but it's still a useful program.
