@Alex labs I just thought about something, an exoskeleton is not a new concept, after all, a example in nature are insects and I remembered that bio-mimicry is a well regarded way people use when making things and I was wondering if maybe you could draw inspiration from the same insects that are things that you are looking for in your everyday suit, like let's say the diabolical California beetle or the iron clad beetle or other things you might find inspiration for, tho let's hope that it still looks like iron man by the end though.

you know why we don't have iron man suits flying in the sky even though it is possible in theory.....because it's hard to pack all those tech in a body armor
@@hellzone7568 Who says he has to pack all of Iron Man in a Suit? Make a Suit that does the Exo Skeleton and Plasma Beams, Make another suit that has the A.I Helmet and Jetpack. Integrate one into the other and over the years through enough Hard work and tech breakthroughs we can have a Realistic Iron Man.

I know this might be a bit early in the process, but I hope the helmet is well ventilated.
Because throughout the history of closed helmets, there has been a little thing called the "helmet horror". Where carbon dioxide builds up inside the helmet causes the wearer to feel like they are can't breath, leading to panic and potentially brain damage or suffocation.
People used to prevent this by only taking deep breaths to push out as much air as possible when you exhale. If you choose to do any physically straining activities, I'd strongly recommend having someone on standby who can quickly take the helmet off of you if things don't go well
He needs to link those armor plates to micro servos that can open the back helmet open and close. If he wanted to go further he can use a carbon dioxide sensor linked to Arduino and oled screen programmed to open when it gets too stuffy

I mean he can make a process where the oxygen goes towards the nose, no?
@@marz.6102 yes by why overdesign something like that when most servos are just plug and play? If something is over engineered it has a higher chance to break
@@zandermarriott that is true but we don't want Alex getting negative emotions Everytime he tries on the suit and we also don't want it to cause him brain damage, tho now that I think about it, why not have a fail safe that'll allow him to have good ventilation from slits or shaft or something like that so that he only needs to rely on the oxygen from the electrolysis device only in dire circumstances.

I have been a fan of iron man since he first downed the armor in the MCU films. And that's what gave me the passion to be an engineer. And seeing a guy in a small workshop with little budget doing what people in huge workshops and large budget and still have a hard time doing warms my heart. it shows small creators that its the creativity and hard work that counts.

So, just to be clear:
This man is a genius engineer, an expert machiner/metalworker/mechanic, a writer, an unbelievable sketch artist, and now a sculptor.
Awesome video! Glad to see you back. Just 1 thing if you intend to make your armor with the 3d print glued onto it be careful because if it splinters into your body x-rays won't be able to pick it up due to it being plastic.
The final version is going to be made with a metal alloy as the shell.
