@@thousandyea i wholeheartedly disagree. vampire lets you skip 1 level while Paladin's shield lets you skip every level as long as you dodge lasers and also you dont lose out on the coins and monster kills.
You should make a multiplayer mode tier list, as in this mode, characters like Priest are much better, while characters like Rogue are a good bit worse.
@@lordprecel8323 but when you go against something making burn poison or freeze you. you know you about to die, and you hope that someone can help you not just rolling away
@@gambaru55 The reason you are poisoned, frozen or on fire is because you didn't dodge. Also, most characters have ways to either prevent damage, self heal, gain immunity frames, freeze/stun enemies or better evade hits. Example: well timed dodge-rolls completely prevent all damage from both poison and fire.
Meanwhile Swordmaster: -f2p character -best melee weapon hands down -skill has really high dmg, destroys projectile and has super long I-frames -respectable cooldown -good stats
25:50 "name a better glowup, you can't." Vampire going from worst character in the game to top 4 in ONE UPDATE: anyway nice vid ten rooted I got the notification bell on :KnightRizz:
This video (which is already goated btw) should be enough proof of how much of a mess many of the characters in the game are, yet instead of improving them, sillyroom rather make 10372691 paid Assassin/Witch and waifu skins. Keep up the good work 👍
I think most characters have something going for them. For example officer Is rated E yet he's the only character I ve beaten hittless bossrush challenge with. (I basically two/three shoted every boss with a herobow + shotgun buff + ironstone + bow buff, it does 400+ DMG per shot its crazy (found this combo myself btw))
Paladin nerf idea: Energy Shield now has a certain amount of health (30) and won't rebound bullets. After the shield breaks, Paladin is stunned for 1.5 seconds and the cooldown of e.s is increased by 5 seconds.
It’s an unbelievable video, the info, the estructure, animations, edition. Wtf bro 😩 Don’t wanna think how many hours of hard work it tooks. Great work! Thx!
i just wanna say i know Priestess is E Tier, but it's kinda why i focus on her runs with finding a mercenary and buffing them up to max with that one NPC then support him or even your pet with her skill 1 so that you wont waste your money much cuz you can heal them up and keep your bodyguards longer. and a bodyguard means they'll aggro and taunt. I actually finish my runs better with priestess and alchemist over any of the other characters
I actually find her skill quite useful (lol I lose my stat quickly playing other characters XP) and I like to have mercenary with me and the pet, ultimate combo And I don't mind the slowness of the run since she has 4 hearts, gotta he careful ;] Glad someone else also have similar taste in Priestess 🎉
@@smiley_flory I have a different take on that. Yeah the mercenary and pet things are good but I like to use her whenever I feel like to clear a room faster than any other characters-to bring Hades Breath. The weapon feels like literally made only for Priestess to use because of her second skill. Bad for fighting boss but for surviving 95% of the rooms, she's good at that. That's why whenever I fought the boss, I would just bring a quick rifle weapon. Good fire rate and fast movement speed mean I can kill the boss faster and side-stepping the bullets. Mercenary and pets are just added bonus since they didn't deal a lot of damage or survive long enough to dish out the boss's attacks.
I quit playing this game a while ago, so I don't know what's happening right now, but I absolutely main'd the hell out of the Priestess. Her second skill just let me be hyper-aggressive with melee weapons from that defense and healing. Having +HP and +Cooldown really just let me tear through a lot of the game. Not to mention that you can keep companions alive and tanking for you, as you've mentioned. I don't exactly remember, but I had the slime pet equipped 24/7 because she could heal the little duplicates and let them block more hits. Though I mainly played her in the more grounded gamemodes where your HP isn't crazy high, and the damage isn't in double digits. If it's wacky, then I'd pick someone else.
a really amazing thing about the Paladin is how with just a bunch of buffs he goes from S tier to *GODLIKE* okso The Paladin with the Miner skill is already amazing but with also the coconut from the machine you can get a max of 13 *STACKS OF SHIELD! THAT´S THE WILDEST THING EVER!* Not to mention that with the reflect bullets one your shield goes from defense to offense very quicky as it also punishes the game for throwing you into the bullet hell. Pair that with a really good Pet like the cockroach to make the Enemy spam less insufferable then you have the best character in the entire soul knight history
Or... You could just use vampire 3rd and get the same offense (with the Shockwave) for free, and plus 10hp making it even tankier than the paladin with all of those buffs. Vampire is actually better just for the exchange of 1sec more cool down, and since you mentioned buffs, having such a big HP means you can take the "crits when HP takes dmg" buff and ensentially get double dps without risking that much. Also if you want to punish bullet hell, don't use that pet since it's anti synergistic, you want to get shot more. But in general yes, unless you play those or the necromancer 3rd, its the best pet.
@@myr_wlk698 agree vampire is extremely op but the hp buff doesn't last forever and everytime you get hit there's a chance you may die instead of the paladin where you just equip the guardian flower tohave the knight passive and avoid any possible risk
You convinced me to get IDT right now, and I'm so happy that Assassin is on S Tier, though I only use Invisibiliy on Matrix Run, but Dark Blade is literally no doubt the best skill for him because it makes him clear up the rooms faster and the skill can reset which is really good
Great tier list! I'm new to the game so i haven't really played most of the characters, but it's interesting to see a more skilled player talk about this, my current favorite characters are Robot and Witch, just cause i think they're the most fun i don't know why
As an assassin main who does not diverse in the community seeing your take on assassin (which I hundred percent agree with and your tier list) but learning about how people don't utilise the first skill like you explained and I do myself is wild to me
Assassin was my first Badass mode winner. Something worth mentioning with Dark Blade is that it does receive a big AoE buff from having the melee range increase perk, and it can reflect bullets in a huge slash plus hit other enemies to soften them up, thus getting easier kills with the skill and chaining it more consistently. And since you are clearing the bullets every slash you will have a better shot at surviving right after invincibility wears off since the worst of the bullet hell will be gone. All of this is possible without the melee range perk (my first badass win was without it) it just makes it more consistent to get. And there I have to say its got the after-skill-survival edge over the invisibility.
Bro my man needs to get some subs.. dude you're edits, sequence, and capability to not let the audience get bored is amazing. And the amount lf effort you put into a video just to prove a point is amazing. I am more then glad to be on your 'Before 1000 sub list' for real. Keep up the great work ur awesome ✨✨
Love the video as you know he actually explained the reasons for his placements and stuff and i agree with like 98% of the list. Would love to see him come back and do it again when more characters are added as currently the latest one out is the trickster
What's so fun about soul knight is that the effectiveness of different characters is highly debatable, and everyone can pick their favourite character without missing on a game meta, because it's not a thing in this game. (Also knight dual wield goated)
Switched from rogue to robot a long time ago (cos I got bored of rogue) and ngl robot is pretty nice. His EMP skill basically acts like a melee weapon but with large range and stun, allowing you to use 2 attacking weapons, or for me usually just a gun and his initial weapon (satellite floating gun). Speaking of his weapon, in the first place it's hardly meant to be used as his main weapon. When you get a floating laser or floating gun nobody uses it as the held weapon since the whole point is to give you a bit of extra damage, though I won't deny 2 damage is a bit small but hey it attacks twice since there's two satellite floating guns and it has a relatively fast attack rate (when floating) and it's an initial weapon so yeah. This comment is getting too long so I'm going to go less into detail. His stun gives lets you get close to enemies with shotguns to land every bullet, his skill can one shot most normal enemies in the first area (in non-badass mode), his skill area is big so the 2 second cooldown isn't too bad for bullet hell since the bullets get destroyed by his skill and he's honestly not that low for f2p characters cos 90% of the higher rated characters are payed 💀 I know most people didn't read this cos their attention spans don't exist lol
The last part is right, I do not have a attention span I like the robot but as a f2p player I think the robot dosent have enough health, yea, skill issue Edit:ACTUALLY SCRATCH THAT HOLY SH🟩T 7 DEFENCE? man I'm dumb just ignore me
lol yea he's like a budget paladin all defence and trash health (he actually has more total stats than paladin but paladin has more defence and a longer lasting skill but yea energy shield is literally just a EMP but not instant)
@@LaSureka He is good just level him up cause his roll actually makes you gain an invincibility frame against bullet and any sorts of attacks plus i believe after you do a roll then attack immediently it will have a higher chance of popping a critical hit
Finally someone who gets werewolf! As a werewolf main, it always angered me that people just shi on it because of low shield, my bro its not that hard just dont use first skill. My personal fav skill in the game is the 3rd skill on wolf, it literally gives you stackable bonus movement speed and extra max health along with healing you and one shottingan enemy, which can be op for elite rooms as they can be one shotted still. Also the duration of the buff from eating someone resets everytime you get another stack
Instant subbed, goated list. I've leveled every character to the max stars and bought every f2p skins and gold framed every single one them f2p skins. In other words I've cleared badass quite a several times with each character, and this whole list justifies my experience with eacy character. Also a lot of the characters here sometimes just need a mentor buff to fumble this whole list, some buff are just to broken such as taoist 3rd skill duration with mentor buff I've actually managed to almost always clear the whole room within a single skill😂
dude costume prince is op character when fighting boss battles. all you gotta do is spam those jumps and attacks on boss. this way you can defeat the boss in mere seconds without getting your shield damaged. the witch got a good skill to as it stuns multiple mobs, does good damage and adds a lightning debuff too. i have played other characters but with these two, its a 99% win
I beg your pardon? Yes, the tier list is outdated and costume prince is an S tier character now, but NOT because of his first skill, it’s because of his second. In badass mode, the mobs and bullet hell crank up to the max and you almost can’t do anything to dodge them because your costume is so big and slow. It’s also kinda frail, only having 20 health. yes, it's good for bosses, but nearly anything in the game is. meanwhile, the second skill provides a ton of defense AND offense, and is much safer and much more versatile. THAT'S what makes him an S tier character.
Guys, if someone doesn't like the opinion of the author of this video, then don't forget that everyone has their own opinion. For example, I was a little surprised to see the Element Envoy at the lowest tier, since this is my favorite legendary character regarding practicality: automatically regenerated energy allows you to use weapons that require a large amount of energy (the main thing is not to overdo it, otherwise you will have to run from the boss, praying that energy and skill recover faster), and immunity to some elements makes the situation a little easier on 3 floors: you do not have to suffer from freezing gas, and you can safely walk on lava tiles. Again: this is just my personal opinion.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I respect yours. Even I think Knight is placed too low: but let me criticize your opinion just a bit. Energy is extremely easy to restore (especially on badass, which is what the list is for), and the energy regen is way too slow for it to be truly good. The passive buff IS good, but only having a passive buff that’s good is a problem, as everything else falls short. I respect your opinion 100%, but I disagree. There’s also a difference between a character being your favorite and a character being good, keep that in mind.
@etonymous1632 thank you for the competent criticism without insults. You're right, it was really hard for me when I quickly ran out of energy when using a certain type of weapon.
Very enjoyable, good choice of words and descriptions -- great sound effects and editing making it entertaining. Watched all 40 minutes. Thanks for the info
I'm sure if Druid's vine smash the ground to attack (like enemy tentacles) it WOULD have become his best skill in level mode already. The shitty homing bullet is all they can pulled off which is still as useless as before...
Ngl thanks bro for recommending the miner. She can stun with her weapon, and her ability is basically invincible dash + double nuke combined. Not only that, she creates portals which could be handy for dodging. Easily one of the most versatile character in the game.
Werewolf mains are real, we exist and berserk is the best skill hands down. I'm thankful you put him in a high spot so respect for that, too many scrubs can't play werewolf
I like to use Witch with Frost Bow, since her passive works there as well. So, you get a 32-dmg per hit that also freezes enemies and bosses. That, paired with her skill, means you can perma-freeze most bosses, so, it's cool
@@ElPanaEnrico Actually, Crit ring works best! Because frost ring is just +1dmg to all sources (and bows have low fire rate) so it won't add much... Crit ring, however, lets her do 48-dmg-crits like every third shot
As a werewolf main I will say that there is something you might have forgotten to consider with him that makes him really good: his starting skill, berserk. It doesn't seem like much on the surface, I'll give you that, but if you reach low enough amounts of hp (2hp and below, or 4hp and below when you have the max hp buff) you can instantly heal the entire 12-16 chillyroom gave him while they were feeling silly-goofy. Additionally, if you're below half, in whatever case except for the 2-4 hp threshold, you can instantly heal back to half if you feel like getting lower is too risky. Another thing about this is how he only takes a third of ALL possible damage while transformed into berzerker, making attacks like the varkolyn leader's beam an absolute joke in badass mode and allowing you to save yourself from death while killing an enemy with melee hits. A really fun strategy with this skill is to combine it with the breath of hades to guarantee safely reaching 1hp while dealing massive amounts of damage and then switching to a defensive playstyle in berzerk mode. Bonus points if you get the crit on hp loss buff.
As someone who loves officer (and knows how bad he is) I would like to correct you about his passive, it does EXACTLY one thing, its designed to be used with his first ability and a combo weapon, as using his first ability equips the golden revolver and firing it puts it away so firing the golden revolver immediately uses the combo weapon, which is now better, works well with paper bomb kunai as you can walk into a boss room with 6 shots loaded and remove about half of its health immediately by pressing the fire button (and then immediately die because you now need to wait for the combo weapon to recharge while you reload the golen revolver)
I think your tier list is right only if we consider that you enter level mode with starter weapon because (in my opinion) berserk probably is the biggest dps of the whole game and with a good enough melee weapon i doesn't even need to dodge (as for shock wave ... Fuck those things)
The tier list is goated, I subbed. I agree with everything. Maaaaybe with the exception of Rogue's passive. I quite like it. You didn't mention just how much offensive capability Rogue has when his rolls QUITE LITERALLY GUARANTEE (most of the time) CRITICAL HITS Which makes pretty much all throwables, all multibullet staffs, all shotguns, do twice as much damage. It also enables other absolute ass buffs, too, like Ricochet. Stuff like bows or high-damage sniper rifles benefit from this in the best way. Also, when a bullet has pierced an enemy, it stays in its critical state. ...Probably. I'm unsure on that.
finally someone who gives miner the respect she deserves, if you pare her pickaxe with the "increase range of melee weapon' "reduce charge time" and the skill that increases weapons like her pickaxe and rail guns its goated ,also I like knights placement cause to me at least he's take what you get character.
I may be wrong, but costume prince is just wallmart but permanent version of inter-dimensional traveler (or that character whose skill has Iframes for a long time), by which I mean, both of them rely on their skill and have low stats (both of their HP and armor are low as hell)
8:43 In solo-mode, I'd recommend that skill with the moons and stuff, people usually hate it because it's bad in multiplayer but I think it's pretty good in solo. It has an offensive mode too after all and they're just homing missiles that damage 8 points on impact.
Well considering he ignored you, imma give you my ideas. I'd combine officer's 1 and 2 into one, making it work as the 1st but when hitting an enemy it gets the 2nd skill effect. This leaves it open to receive a different skill. The 3rd is alright, maybe path go in the direction you are moving instead of having to target an enemy. Priest 1st... There's 2 ways a defensive path or an aggressive one, the defensive would be as simple as letting it do overheal, that way her low hp doesn't handicap herself... The aggressive path would be, you know that when the circle ends, it deals damage to any enemy on top of it? The problem is that the timing is too strict, an enemy must be inside when it ends and the dmg is really low, so my solution is to make the circle bigger and make it apply the "dimension traveler" debuf to any enemy who enters the circle (they have a timer of 8sec and die when it reaches 0) or alternatively just make it take dmg when they step outside of it or it ends, but more than currently does, like 40 and 75 for bosses. Her 2nd could be the same but keep the rate of fire buff until you get hit, meaning that if you are good dodging you can get more out of it. And the 3rd is actually fine, just remove the option of healing orbs attacking enemies and make her circle around her until she takes dmg, and make her get the buff when she heals followers. And there you have it
@@myr_wlk698 thought about priest being a bit more like Gerard Quentin from OWL (another chillyroom game) where the character is both support has offense and defense Perhaps on skill 1 enemies who step on the healing circle get a DOT which is an opposite to regeneration and drastically increases your firerate while inside it Since Pray means to ask a request to a deity maybe it could summon a really strong follower which gives you and allies a certain buff depending on the situation (for example LOWHP = Healing and damage reduction LOWMANA = Mana regen and increased damage HEALTHYSTATS = Summon an angel which attacks enemies)
yk as an assasin player that has been using the dark blade for ages im glad someone actually talked about how op he is, tbh i didnt really think about it. i just thought assain was a good character i didnt consider how op his skill is, despite the fact i never use any other character
Even I don't use sword master, is a S tier why? Because of its invincibility that you are immune for a brief time and overall she can be the best for boss fight if you have bullet deflection since the starter weapon is already good, so use correctly like lancer but her clearing can be good plus its free
As an achelmist main, it's fair to put him in b tier, but he's hella fun to play as. The satisfying feeling of hitting a perfect gas grenade where enemies die a lot faster.
9:45 isn't cleaner a pretty average laser weapon? And with the right buffs, it could probably even be a good laser weapon, just stating an opinion here though.
I think priestess is actually a tier, her 3rd skill improves on damage so much that when i play, i can literally defeat entire playthroughs on badass and have a really reliable skill, the cooldown is decent and with the cooldown buff you can use the skill button to have faster missiles. I also think the druid can become like a pseudo knight with his first skill, and the wolfbite amulet means badass is a piece of cake, one milk drink and this jewel and you're essentially a tank, with his fist skill he buffs himself and his wolfs. I've literally shredded bosses with his first skill and it surprises me that the rework buffed him so much! Anyways I agree with most other characters but don't mess with my boy druid just because of his starter weapon and stats!
Knight is very Conditional, when you have a specific gun that can kill fast(shoot multiple projectiles) , pairing it with dual weild + Crit increase buff, or Chaotic + Element Damage Increase can be really good at boss fight. Its just that he's very easy to die.
In my opinion robot can be really good in some situations, and while his defensive ability is not perfect, it's still really good. His starter weapon is actually not that bad, 'cause when equiped in the other slot it will still damage your enemy not taking any energy for that, the stun and damage his ability deals is just wild, it can be godly on certain bosses, you can just come close and spam your ability, stunning and destroying boss without any chance for him to escape. And once again, it is good ONLY on certain bosses, not on all. Also, his passive buff is really good with his ability. Overall, i think that robot is pretty underrated, he's a really good character in my opinion.
10:33 to be honest with that, i personally like the concept and the ability to change it, they are only in case of emergency to change of knight and have their unique things, its good and the ability grant you immunity per use, and i thinks that's it
The officer is my favorite character. I wait for half an hour every time I go online because every player kicks me as soon as I take it. But I'm going to play it anyway, because it's fun for me personally.
I'm an Engineer main that had no idea armor mount uses whatever mech is in the robotics facility. Great 🤡. But yes, it's a testament to how good Engineer is with default prototype armor. Side tangent: I used to play this game as a child and now when I returned as a college student I'm studying Engineering Robotics. Hmm.
Well made tier list, also supprised that your main is low on list (Not necessary part→)Also for me I started think about character i-frames, deffence after kinda conflict with guy (you probably know him), hard way to learn But still would mainly play knight cuz I hecking love luck based, energy sucker. P.S. if you want play knight but not caring about dodging everything use jade ring, not tgat skillful but suitable for casual players P.P.S some skills should really have aiming joystick (aim skill)
Welp, u make the POINT if we talk about the starter kit, such as stas, basic weapon and their functional skill, and passive... thank you so much for the explanation that make sense... But we can't ignore the combo that we can create with variative item and buff that we can get mid game, or even we can create from the start... People also have their own type of gameplay, that make people have their own main, but i can't argue about paladin on the first stage... not only have an "absolute defense" but paladin can be so "OFFENSIVE" thanks to various item, and weapon like Serenity for example that make paladins the best character to use it. And as rogue main, i want to add something... that rogue's dodge roll also add critical boost, both chance, and damage with 0,5 S cd... and thats the big thing u missed, welp as the starter kit, its not doing much with the basic weapon, but once you get the right weapon to use, like elemental bullet for example (i mostly like the ice element) and ice for an example... you can get high chance to freeze enemy + the piercing bullet, it get chance to freeze other enemy next to it Welp thats it 👌 and thank you for explaining all of it tho... iam about to buy other character, and i can't decide... but thanks to all of your explanation, that i can make a choice now
I would have to argue that airbender is A tier with the right experience and potentially S tier if you get the right buffs since his skill pairs with the buffs. Not to forgot the secret combo (technically the kamehameha) that does quite some damage.
As an alchemist main.......i completely agree with this assessment of his placement and i actually expected him to be in high C to mid-high B, not an A or S hero, I enjoy his character a lot tho, and I'm a little bummed they turned my favorite skin, Toxic Corps. Alchemist into Mr.Beaky,or whatever, my Favorite skin in rhe game. -_-||
im an officer main, i have no idea why either. i just like him ironically, his "worst skill" is actually best when you cycle the shots between skill and basic weapon, he does fall off really quick as the game progresses but this helps it alot. by all means im not trying to pick a fight and even him being my main hero, i know hes absolute doodoo compared to everyone else but definitely good for a free hero. i also like running bounty with combat shotgun. this gives him a really good budget kit with his passive giving the combat shotgun 3 bursts and making them home in on enemies. id put him in atleast C tier but not eberybody would be willing to play slightly sweaty for him to reach that tier so his tier in this video is pretty fair.
This video is awesome! I kinda find some of you're opinions useful, I only disagree with Costume Prince, the skill is good, but dont understand me wrong, it's my opinion, btw great viddddddd!!!!!!
This is a good tierlist with great arguments. However, (I'm not telling you what to do or not do, you're the one running the ship, but) as a human being, I do have opinions: - I feel like the starter weapon drags the character down too much, because... Well, you can just pick a better weapon in the dungeon (i know that's luck based, but the lower the bar, the higher the odds of getting something better) - Some of the character who "lack" defense, might not just be as defenseless as they seem, just grab a melee weapon and boom, you can now break bullets. And to those who are gonna argue that it's weapon based and therefore random, I have one word for you: S H O V E L. (Yes, it's not the best, but it's a melee weapon with decent-ish range and attack rate, and that is much better than nothing.) - Instructor's skill buff (yes, I know it's also random, but it has different effects for every skill so i'm still counting it). It may not seem like much, but there are some skills for which it does Wonders, like the Prayer, which gets it's duration doubled, or the Invisibility, which, with the buff, makes you invincible for the FULL DURATION OF THE SKILL. (This one might be a bit biased, but come on, damage immunity for the entire duration of invisibility? I cona't overlook that) But hey, I'm just a guy who plays the game, who knows if I'm right or not...
The alchemist's best skill is the second in the selection menu. It can intoxicate at the same time as it causes an explosion, it can freeze and creates a circle of fire, similar to the Knight's best ability. The cooldown allows you to throw a flask at any time, it's good for fighting bosses, saving energy or making energy buffs practically unnecessary. Negatives include a kinda low HP and lack of defensive ability, but HP can be improved with the Pill gun. My personal favorite.
@@idk-xm4gi, As I said in the comment, it's good for fighting bosses because it can freeze them. If a Boss moves a lot, three vials of poison won't do much damage, and these same vials are thrown in three directions and not directly at your aim like the second skill.
@@brunnomenxa 2nd: -piss dps even if you have all the elemental buff (1 bottle per 3sec and one of them deal almost no damage without buff) -only 2 out of 3 have cc (the ice has reduced effectiveness against bosses) -easy to miss due to projectile having slow speed and no collision 1st -high dps and good chip damage even without the cloud pools because of the stacking effect -easy to hit and good area effect -actually has good cc (100% uptime as long as they stand in poison pools which they cannot even escape) -synergize insanely well with mentor and shotgun buff
@@idk-xm4gi, I tested both. The one that performed best was the second skill. If you don't spam it, you'll be able to use a flask with a different effect every second for various occasions. The poison bottle also explodes, so you deal a lot of damage against small monsters and also have the bonus of breaking boxes. It's more versatile. Although freezing is not very effective against bosses (speaking of numbers), the skill allows you to freeze them for a certain amount of time and reduce the boss life in half in a normal run. If the first vial hits the boss with a freezing effect, the rest of them have a 100% chance of hitting because the boss won't go anywhere, plus you'll have free sight of the boss without a bullet hell. While in this state, the boss will take freezing damage, fire damage, poison damage and a large damage delt in area. If you expend all your flasks at the same time in the boss, the next flask will be the freezing flask again, so you can freeze the boss once the freezing effect is available again, and repeat until the boss is killed. The only boss that this strategy doesn't work on is the worm in the cave biome. Often the ice vial doesn't apply freezing on it and he'll be able to move without much problems. If you have an effect to reduce the ability cooldown, it'll be a little better.

You should make a multiplayer mode tier list, as in this mode, characters like Priest are much better, while characters like Rogue are a good bit worse.
Have you ever seen rooms being cleared so fast that nobody is even able to take damage? Yeah, priest is overrated there too.

Also, most characters have ways to either prevent damage, self heal, gain immunity frames, freeze/stun enemies or better evade hits. Example: well timed dodge-rolls completely prevent all damage from both poison and fire.
Meanwhile Swordmaster:

Vampire going from worst character in the game to top 4 in ONE UPDATE:
anyway nice vid ten rooted I got the notification bell on :KnightRizz:
Nah, if they rework element envoy to have an actually good skill, one that has great defense and offense, it'd be wild...
This video (which is already goated btw) should be enough proof of how much of a mess many of the characters in the game are, yet instead of improving them, sillyroom rather make 10372691 paid Assassin/Witch and waifu skins. Keep up the good work 👍
Just wanna have a good witch/assassin skin that doesn't make me pull out the card but they never do that ;-;, except for six-eared maraque

Great work! Thx!
If you think that was hard work, just watch Max0r's videos and you will how is a video made by the GOD OF EDITION.
i just wanna say i know Priestess is E Tier, but it's kinda why i focus on her runs with finding a mercenary and buffing them up to max with that one NPC then support him or even your pet with her skill 1 so that you wont waste your money much cuz you can heal them up and keep your bodyguards longer. and a bodyguard means they'll aggro and taunt.
I actually finish my runs better with priestess and alchemist over any of the other characters
I actually find her skill quite useful (lol I lose my stat quickly playing other characters XP) and I like to have mercenary with me and the pet, ultimate combo
And I don't mind the slowness of the run since she has 4 hearts, gotta he careful ;]
Glad someone else also have similar taste in Priestess 🎉
If it's wacky, then I'd pick someone else.
a really amazing thing about the Paladin is how with just a bunch of buffs he goes from S tier to
*GODLIKE*
okso The Paladin with the Miner skill is already amazing but with also the coconut from the machine you can get a max of 13 *STACKS OF SHIELD! THAT´S THE WILDEST THING EVER!*
Not to mention that with the reflect bullets one your shield goes from defense to offense very quicky as it also punishes the game for throwing you into the bullet hell.
@@myr_wlk698 agree vampire is extremely op but the hp buff doesn't last forever and everytime you get hit there's a chance you may die instead of the paladin where you just equip the guardian flower tohave the knight passive and avoid any possible risk
you get the milk and coconut and that 13 passive shield becomes a wall
bro wtf ur so underrated the editing is top notch and the video is fire instantly subbed
You convinced me to get IDT right now, and I'm so happy that Assassin is on S Tier, though I only use Invisibiliy on Matrix Run, but Dark Blade is literally no doubt the best skill for him because it makes him clear up the rooms faster and the skill can reset which is really good
Its such a pleasant surprise seeing a text only creator have a good personality that shows even without a voice. Keep up the good work
this is my favourite video, ive watched it twice already

As a taoist main, i am proud that taoist even landed that high
Same
Switched from rogue to robot a long time ago (cos I got bored of rogue) and ngl robot is pretty nice.
The last part is right, I do not have a attention span
I like the robot but as a f2p player I think the robot dosent have enough health, yea, skill issue
Edit:ACTUALLY SCRATCH THAT HOLY SH🟩T 7 DEFENCE? man I'm dumb just ignore me
lol yea he's like a budget paladin all defence and trash health (he actually has more total stats than paladin but paladin has more defence and a longer lasting skill but yea energy shield is literally just a EMP but not instant)

Miner is such a good character it's not even funny
for those who truly love SK, this video was a wonder to watch. love from brazil bro
This video is basicaly

Still a good video
dude costume prince is op character when fighting boss battles. all you gotta do is spam those jumps and attacks on boss. this way you can defeat the boss in mere seconds without getting your shield damaged. the witch got a good skill to as it stuns multiple mobs, does good damage and adds a lightning debuff too. i have played other characters but with these two, its a 99% win
pretty much a lot of characters can deal with bosses. The problem is that prince is vurnable to bullet hell, like a lot of others
THAT'S what makes him an S tier character.
your choice of background song is really telling a whole story on what you gonna say about the character. love that, keep up the good work!
friends, calm down, we all know that the knight is in SSS because without him we wouldn't have the others
This is an amazing video man great job
I'm sure if Druid's vine smash the ground to attack (like enemy tentacles) it WOULD have become his best skill in level mode already. The shitty homing bullet is all they can pulled off which is still as useless as before...
Editing was so crispy. Brother cooked with this one
Ngl thanks bro for recommending the miner. She can stun with her weapon, and her ability is basically invincible dash + double nuke combined. Not only that, she creates portals which could be handy for dodging. Easily one of the most versatile character in the game.
Holy shit how tf do you only have 500 subs this is high quality content and you deserve so much more. you just earned ur 500th subscriber!
Great video man
Werewolf mains are real, we exist and berserk is the best skill hands down.
Combine that with the freeze ring
@@ElPanaEnrico Actually, Crit ring works best! Because frost ring is just +1dmg to all sources (and bows have low fire rate) so it won't add much... Crit ring, however, lets her do 48-dmg-crits like every third shot
@@andymine12 That sounds more op,thanks
Dude, This tier list is so Accurate💯
S tier background music is from epic battle fantasy 4, fallen blood, i LOVE that game
Bonus points if you get the crit on hp loss buff.
masterpiece of a video, no questions asked.
Assassin MUST be S-tier with his skill, dark blade, can AVOID DEATH. 💀
Because of this tier list. I have a whole lot of respect to players who can pull off badass mode with the low tier heroes now.
As someone who loves officer (and knows how bad he is)
I would like to correct you about his passive, it does EXACTLY one thing, its designed to be used with his first ability and a combo weapon, as using his first ability equips the golden revolver and firing it puts it away so firing the golden revolver immediately uses the combo weapon, which is now better, works well with paper bomb kunai as you can walk into a boss room with 6 shots loaded and remove about half of its health immediately by pressing the fire button (and then immediately die because you now need to wait for the combo weapon to recharge while you reload the golen revolver)
I think your tier list is right only if we consider that you enter level mode with starter weapon because (in my opinion) berserk probably is the biggest dps of the whole game and with a good enough melee weapon i doesn't even need to dodge (as for shock wave ... Fuck those things)
"even though officer is one of my favorite characters"
dab me up
holy shit this music is so based
One of the most quality video of soul knight on UA-cam
29:57 IDT’s passive buff also gives him a 50% chance to be immune to damage
The tier list is goated, I subbed. I agree with everything.
Maaaaybe with the exception of Rogue's passive. I quite like it. You didn't mention just how much offensive capability Rogue has when his rolls QUITE LITERALLY GUARANTEE (most of the time) CRITICAL HITS
Which makes pretty much all throwables, all multibullet staffs, all shotguns, do twice as much damage.
It has an offensive mode too after all and they're just homing missiles that damage 8 points on impact.
what kind of buff/rework would you give to priest and officer?
And there you have it
@@myr_wlk698 thought about priest being a bit more like Gerard Quentin from OWL (another chillyroom game) where the character is both support has offense and defense
Perhaps on skill 1 enemies who step on the healing circle get a DOT which is an opposite to regeneration and drastically increases your firerate while inside it
Since Pray means to ask a request to a deity maybe it could summon a really strong follower which gives you and allies a certain buff depending on the situation (for example LOWHP = Healing and damage reduction LOWMANA = Mana regen and increased damage HEALTHYSTATS = Summon an angel which attacks enemies)
What is the best vampire mode right now?

Sword master is in 6.00.00
At this update, Sword Master looks like A tier, and I'm bad at explaining but anyone can understand why I said A tier for her🤓
Even I don't use sword master, is a S tier why? Because of its invincibility that you are immune for a brief time and overall she can be the best for boss fight if you have bullet deflection since the starter weapon is already good, so use correctly like lancer but her clearing can be good plus its free
@@Hikizujinshe can be the best if the buff choose correctly and situational
@@tanskie250 sorry I accidentally misplaced her, But I think Sword Master and Lancer is good at A tier
As an achelmist main, it's fair to put him in b tier, but he's hella fun to play as. The satisfying feeling of hitting a perfect gas grenade where enemies die a lot faster.
When i discovered how to get legendary characters i grinded to get the special forces. I was SO disappointed
The thing is any character is good with a given set of buffs and weapons, but some are just not as good as the others without them.
Knight is very Conditional, when you have a specific gun that can kill fast(shoot multiple projectiles) , pairing it with dual weild + Crit increase buff, or Chaotic + Element Damage Increase can be really good at boss fight. Its just that he's very easy to die.
Literal glass cannon, if you manage to find a decent to good weapon with dual wield you'll be clearing rooms as fast as you can die
10:33 to be honest with that, i personally like the concept and the ability to change it, they are only in case of emergency to change of knight and have their unique things, its good and the ability grant you immunity per use, and i thinks that's it
hidden message at 35:17 in white, its something like, its smaller dingus, and i think we should give lifesteal to berserker
Bro make a 43 minute video for ranking character in Soul Knight. You're The Patient One 🥰
btw, Offier's 3rd skill might be bad, but i really like it.. when paired with shotguns or certains staffs (like the Thunder Staff), it helps so much
finally so now i know what character s i should buy
The officer is my favorite character. I wait for half an hour every time I go online because every player kicks me as soon as I take it. But I'm going to play it anyway, because it's fun for me personally.
I'm an Engineer main that had no idea armor mount uses whatever mech is in the robotics facility. Great 🤡. But yes, it's a testament to how good Engineer is with default prototype armor.
Side tangent: I used to play this game as a child and now when I returned as a college student I'm studying Engineering Robotics. Hmm.
Apollo and the gift of prophecy
Amazing and phenomenal take kinda surprised in most b tier and s tier takes tbh
Ion know bout u but for me, Officer is GOATED
Well made tier list, also supprised that your main is low on list
(Not necessary part→)Also for me I started think about character i-frames, deffence after kinda conflict with guy (you probably know him), hard way to learn
But still would mainly play knight cuz I hecking love luck based, energy sucker.
P.S. if you want play knight but not caring about dodging everything use jade ring, not tgat skillful but suitable for casual players
P.P.S some skills should really have aiming joystick (aim skill)
Welp, u make the POINT if we talk about the starter kit, such as stas, basic weapon and their functional skill, and passive... thank you so much for the explanation that make sense...
But we can't ignore the combo that we can create with variative item and buff that we can get mid game, or even we can create from the start...
People also have their own type of gameplay, that make people have their own main, but i can't argue about paladin on the first stage... not only have an "absolute defense" but paladin can be so "OFFENSIVE" thanks to various item, and weapon like Serenity for example that make paladins the best character to use it.
And as rogue main, i want to add something... that rogue's dodge roll also add critical boost, both chance, and damage with 0,5 S cd... and thats the big thing u missed, welp as the starter kit, its not doing much with the basic weapon, but once you get the right weapon to use, like elemental bullet for example (i mostly like the ice element) and ice for an example... you can get high chance to freeze enemy + the piercing bullet, it get chance to freeze other enemy next to it
Welp thats it 👌 and thank you for explaining all of it tho... iam about to buy other character, and i can't decide... but thanks to all of your explanation, that i can make a choice now
I would have to argue that airbender is A tier with the right experience and potentially S tier if you get the right buffs since his skill pairs with the buffs.
im an officer main, i have no idea why either. i just like him
ironically, his "worst skill" is actually best when you cycle the shots between skill and basic weapon, he does fall off really quick as the game progresses but this helps it alot.
by all means im not trying to pick a fight and even him being my main hero, i know hes absolute doodoo compared to everyone else but definitely good for a free hero.
i also like running bounty with combat shotgun. this gives him a really good budget kit with his passive giving the combat shotgun 3 bursts and making them home in on enemies.
id put him in atleast C tier but not eberybody would be willing to play slightly sweaty for him to reach that tier so his tier in this video is pretty fair.
I agree with you bro
This video is awesome! I kinda find some of you're opinions useful, I only disagree with Costume Prince, the skill is good, but dont understand me wrong, it's my opinion, btw great viddddddd!!!!!!
This is a good tierlist with great arguments. However, (I'm not telling you what to do or not do, you're the one running the ship, but) as a human being, I do have opinions:
- I feel like the starter weapon drags the character down too much, because... Well, you can just pick a better weapon in the dungeon (i know that's luck based, but the lower the bar, the higher the odds of getting something better)
- Some of the character who "lack" defense, might not just be as defenseless as they seem, just grab a melee weapon and boom, you can now break bullets. And to those who are gonna argue that it's weapon based and therefore random, I have one word for you: S H O V E L. (Yes, it's not the best, but it's a melee weapon with decent-ish range and attack rate, and that is much better than nothing.)
- Instructor's skill buff (yes, I know it's also random, but it has different effects for every skill so i'm still counting it). I cona't overlook that)
But hey, I'm just a guy who plays the game, who knows if I'm right or not...
Is this game worth playing in february 2024
it's worth playing anytime

The alchemist's best skill is the second in the selection menu.
It can intoxicate at the same time as it causes an explosion, it can freeze and creates a circle of fire, similar to the Knight's best ability.
The cooldown allows you to throw a flask at any time, it's good for fighting bosses, saving energy or making energy buffs practically unnecessary.
Negatives include a kinda low HP and lack of defensive ability, but HP can be improved with the Pill gun. My personal favorite.
Why would you even want to use the second one, the first skill already have cc(slow) and way more dps
@@idk-xm4gi,
As I said in the comment, it's good for fighting bosses because it can freeze them. If a Boss moves a lot, three vials of poison won't do much damage, and these same vials are thrown in three directions and not directly at your aim like the second skill.

2nd:
-piss dps even if you have all the elemental buff (1 bottle per 3sec and one of them deal almost no damage without buff)
-only 2 out of 3 have cc (the ice has reduced effectiveness against bosses)
-easy to miss due to projectile having slow speed and no collision
1st
-high dps and good chip damage even without the cloud pools because of the stacking effect
-easy to hit and good area effect
-actually has good cc (100% uptime as long as they stand in poison pools which they cannot even escape)
-synergize insanely well with mentor and shotgun buff
@@idk-xm4gi,
I tested both.
