The Hijab/heads-carve is a macho-legacy that pre-dated Islam in many parts of the ancient world, particularly in Persia. After Islam, it has become associated with radical version of Islam practised under the Ottomans as well as Arabia's Nomads, which both covered women in ugly black-coloured cloaks. (By the way these cultures perceive black as a colour of death and mourning, go figure) In modern history with the emergence of backward Wahhabism/Salafism as the leader of so-called Sunni Umma on one side, when coupled with witnessing the rise of Shiite leadership under Iran's Ayatollahs, have both promoted a deceiving "sacredness" of Hijab as one of the most important indicators of women's faith, chastity, and morality. Both theocratic regimes have promoted heavily the Hijab alongside other false ideologies all over the Islamic world through financed scholars and media outlets. On the society level, it has been enforced by self-claimed scholars through false misinterpretation of the scripture to suite their dominant agenda over societal aspects. As long as scholars enjoy absolute dominance over Muslim's daily life, the followers'' faith will remain one of the sources of today''s prevalent problems facing the Umma.
I wore a hijab for about 8 months. During that 8 months I endured terrible treatment. Once at a restaurant I was seated at the far rear where nobody else was seated. When I walked up to the buffet a large group of people seated next to the buffet stood up and sang about Jesus. It is way too hard for a non Muslim woman in a "so called Christian" world to embrace Islam publicly. Hijab wearers deserve respect. I also got the middle finger raised against me as I drove a car.

Not surprisingly, not all that different than being Southern Baptist. There just isn't anything that visually sets you apart from others in "the South or most Western places." That part is much like my Amish friends or even some Pentecostal friends. Thought processes are similar; gender roles are similar; stereotypes are similar. And I can image some of the responses you get from fellow Hijabis (spelling?) because I know what it's like when I make observational humor about my own upbringing Thanks for sharing, just reinforces the fact that we are all so much the same & responsible for what we do from there. Best wishes to you! As-Salaam-Alaikum (again, spelling?)

Aala Ayyad Now really, is that what the Quran says we should wear?
What are you trying to imply right now? Without arguing if at all possible.
I asked you a question. Is that what the Quran told us to wear. If you are a Muslim, please search the Quran and see what it says.

I am the hippie hijabi all the way.
(By the way these cultures perceive black as a colour of death and mourning, go figure)
In modern history with the emergence of backward Wahhabism/Salafism as the leader of so-called Sunni Umma on one side, when coupled with witnessing the rise of Shiite leadership under Iran's Ayatollahs, have both promoted a deceiving "sacredness" of Hijab as one of the most important indicators of women's faith, chastity, and morality.
Lol I thought this was a new video because of the new clip you added but no, that's cool Tazzy 😂😂
MashaAllah! I love your video it is funny. :-):-)
I LOL so hard when u mentioned the guy comparing women to fruit. You did not even exaggerate.
Does anyone else think she looks like slim from slimmofication at 3:00 omg
I wore a hijab for about 8 months. During that 8 months I endured terrible treatment. Once at a restaurant I was seated at the far rear where nobody else was seated. When I walked up to the buffet a large group of people seated next to the buffet stood up and sang about Jesus. It is way too hard for a non Muslim woman in a "so called Christian" world to embrace Islam publicly. Hijab wearers deserve respect. I also got the middle finger raised against me as I drove a car.
I'm none of these types.
Thank godnesss I thought I was alone

No offence the person who is talking about "hijabis" isn't wearing hijab properly even! Hijab is not about only covering your hair! But nice video
right!
At least she is covering, I don't understand why you would discourage her, no benefit came from you comment especially when it was uncalled for.....
HappyHijabiBeauty x there are benefits of my comment obviously! There are so many people who want to start hijab and then wear it like this which has no point! Also, i'm not discouraging her; i wanted to let her know this! And also as a hijabi, its my duty to let other's know! And I'm not hating on her, her video was nice but her hijab wasn't right that is what i said! I don't think i discouraged her from any angle :)
+Zahra Fatiha +1
Its about not showing your body figure and also you can not show your neck! she didn't cover her hair properly even! *****
I miss your old videos tooo like this one with your friend 💗💗
your hijab is also not according to the sunnah.
I'm crying this is great 😂😂😂
lol you're hilarious... sorry you got some haters on your page. You do you, girl.
lol unprotected orange? You are amazing!! Keep up the great work :)
You're freaking hilarious girl. MashaAllah! I have no idea why it took me so long to discover this channel. I used to be a youtuber back in high school and the idea seems soooo far away now that I'm in college. You're doing freakin great and I'm so proud of you!!!!
This is the best thing ever! Just discovered your channel! About to binge watch your videos! Love your dry humor :)
You girl are just GREAT!!! Really share your point of view...
