He tried something and he failed. The lesson here is never try.
The video was fun but the fact that many characters deliberately ignored using all of their possible jump options was a bit aggravating. Pikachu went directly into his up special without even jumping!

Yea, I'm characters like Ice and Cap. Falcon could have made it with their recoveries
Don't forget about pikachu's side special
And Sonic should have gotten a ledge grab.

You may be confused, why Luigi failed? But the answer is simple, he wasn't level up's Luigi, he was Luigi from smash.

I feel like a few of them could have made it across if they had just jumped/double jumped beforehand...

They way these guys completely misused their kits? Steve would try to minecart off the ledge, ignore block placing, and wouldn't even try to double jump off of the minecart

Rev roll off a ramp onto a rev roll hoverboard and flies across halfway to a falling icicle platform super far away from the next falling icicle platform and pacadot chains to the flagpole. :)

Man, I love how inaccurate this is.
I would've gone a few steps further with Link. After the bomb launched him, he does his aerial spin attack but is still a little short. But then, at the last second he pulls out his hookshot, grabs the flagpole, and pulls himself to the other side.

Sonic could of won if he spindashed then make his jump first
Sonic would have won without the spindash, cause he can air dodge after using his up B. Not sure why they made him fail.

I’ m sure that falcon can technically do this, falcon kick from the ledge, jump, up special or side special

Have you guys noticed that those who made it across cheated in a way? I mean, Peach floated, Samus hovered, Link used a bomb, and Wario farted. That's technically not jumping

If this was accurate pikachu could prob make it, he could do that skull smash thing where he launches himself either left or right and then can use quick attack to win

U forgotten kirby, he's 1 of 12 originals. Kirby was in the first smash bros. game Super smash bros.
They just picked random characters for this. Not specifically the 12 og's.

Nope, you got it wrong, a bridge was supposed to appear when Luigi walked over to the edge.
Also Sonic didn't use double jump, which is why he didn't make it.

None of the winners really jumped. Peach floated,Samus ummm did something which isn't jumping,Link did something which is not jumping, And Wario farted.
....the smart thing i noticed was mario was the only one to double jump. Some like sonic coulda made it if they double jumped forwards first-

So many of them failed to use their double jump before their up B, or their up B after their double jump
Imagine if Little Mac jump over the lava.
