I'm currently pursuing a masters degree in AI and Machine Learning in Canada, and Prof Adegbola' was the first person to introduce me to these subjects way back at the University of Lagos. He was by far my best lecturer during my engineering degree.
He is also spot on the Ogun terminology, has anyone ever seen any mechanical devise that does not contain element of oil as lubricant? look at your car engine, generators, any mechanical devices made out of iron that does not use engine oil to reduce stress, contraction, expansion e.t.c same as our four fathers has given credit to Ogun by appeasing him with palm oil same practical analysis done differently.

I would imagine having guns, rockets, gunboats and bayonets all pointed at the Africans went a long way in convincing them to abandon their culture
Even those who have denounced IFA as a religion, still practice it in other aspects. They use it's pharmacology in healing, they use it's melodies in their praise, they prepare it's cuisine, wear it's clothing and recite it's proverbs for moral instruction. They have done nothing but make themselves hypocrites.
