@@Aerethiel at 30 you can get your mount for around 50g, thats also the point from which quests will give 40% more xp, they also give more rep, and elites will become normal mobs. if you plan for alts AND main its great to get everyone to 30, max professions and make some gold. mount will also cost 200g less
thanks for this vid! really helps with my planning for tbc. i ultimately want to play feral tank/cat. but also want to dabble with restokin or full resto for arenas
Knot, Restokin (or dreamstate druid) is what i've been looking for on youtube and reddit from quite few months.Yuo are like the first BC youtuber who acknowledged and pointed it out. Can you do a deep dive video of how its doing from 60-70 and compared to ferals? How it handles healing entry level dungeons like ramparts/bf, sp and ub? With fresh 60 (not much of BH) and maybe prebis raiding classic gear? Thank you for this one!
it simple, it does exponentialy better at healing and general support, the thing is feral druids have a talent that gives them healing trough AP, but when you heal in a dungeon you put on your Intel set, intel is king in dungeons because fights are short, which also means all feral talents become useless. Restokin on the other hand has both a strong altough super mana heavy aoe and heals, all boosted with mp5 healing power and spell dmg with talents. dungeons fights are short which makes your intel even more valuable. you just stack int + sp power. as for leveling whenever you need mana, in your chicken form you simply equip a feral AP staff and melee, the melee does good damage, restores huge mana (around 300mp5) all while your dots tick. you go full mana in no time. zero downtime. you also dot bosses, reducing hit chance and they go down even faster while your hots tick. Restokin is technicaly the best spec for dungeons when you boost healing touch w talents because its perfect for tank healing. you go tree form because of raids, but the ST healing of tree is slow for things like heroics.
a lil bit different in detail, but its like going more dps than the moonglow-healing build from classic, so its still viable in healing (especially with all those manareg). considered it because with p6 gear you should be able to keep your group alive in low tbc dungeons anyway.
I'll probably end up leveling restokin as well. I'm leveling my druid up right now, i'm really hoping they announce we can bring characters over.. I've healed dungeons as feral before in tbc, but I prefer putting most of my effort into that aspect of gameplay. It's too bad you can't really do the opposite, like tank a dungeon as restokin. Either way I'm really looking forward to hitting 70 and doing arenas as resto.
With that spec I would still mostly rely on lifebloom for tanks, regrowth or rejuv for any additional / splash damage. In terms of rank, just max rank, your mana will be very good unless your shifting too often into moonkin for the extra dps rather than just adding DPS in caster form
I’m a restokin, it’s been hella fun lvling with it, only problem, when you get mind controlled in some dung..... might As well be a wipe, because your gonna one shot dps and tanks! 😛
Does druid still need macros from going to stealth from normal form, and macros to go from cat in to bear instantly and so on?...cast a heal from a form. Do we still need macros for that in tbc?
You can shift between forms without going humanoid form in TBC but you'll want cancelform macros for heals I believe, likewise I don't think the TBC client has humanoid to stealth without a macro.
@@madokaonline My bad on the spells in form, any action not able to be performed inside a druid form will pull you out to caster form. So no need for cancelform lines in your macros.
Around season 3 is when you can gain the right kind of stats/PVE off pieces to not need the deep resto talents. At least, that's what the private server experience seems to have been. I'm sure it's not straight up bad before then, but I'll probably play the boring safe spec til season 3+, we will see!
Just go feral get the agi=heals talent and get healing weps and youre good. At lvl 70 i used the pvp set as feral (which has healing on it) and switched to healing weps when the healer died in dungeons and i healed whole fights. You can tank, feral dps (which is the best for lvling since you dont use mana when you do dmg) and heal in this spec for PVE no problems. I healed heroics with this spec while having a strong healing backup wepon and offhand bacck in BC it is amazing. Boomkin dps isnt great for llving because feral is non stop.
Isn't it the same with feral. You can tank. You can dps, you can solo quest , you can pvp. All in the same spec . You just don't need to buy mage water as feral i guess ,:) also sadly man people won't take a resto druid due to no rezz. Just saying. Sadly the mentality people have these days in wow.
Yeah to some extent, you can kinda do everything in all three specs if you have gear for it, I did feel a little bit like a cheater to call it a tip but I think it's good to give alternatives some coverage :)
Would love a long form deep dive into the Druid, this was great.
100% behind this!
Your content deserves a lot more views than it's currently getting. Keep it up and I'm sure it'll be noticed.
Dont worry, I remember him having like a couple hundred subs a very short while ago. He’ll be at 30k in no time
Played a druid in vanilla, TBC, and now Classic.....this really makes me reconsider my plan to switch to something else. Great video btw!
Bro this is making my life way easier thank you
This got me really excited for TBC lol. I guess I should start preparing and level up a druid to 60 before pre-patch.
level to 30 before prepatch then 30 to 60 when prepatch hits.
@@David-hs1bu Hey, man! How does the prepatch help with the leveling? It's been a while...

@@Aerethiel prepatch is tbc without access to outlands, you also wont be able to get boosts anymore as mages get aoe capped if you want to use that.
@@David-hs1bu Thanks for taking the time to reply, mate! Much appreciated! Really useful info!
Awesome video. Really enjoyed it! As a die hard druid this definitely gets a thumbs up from me 👍
Wow didnt knew about this build! As a resto who will do quests and dungeons this is perfect! Tyvm
I'm honored you chose my Peepotree and Peepokin for the thumbnail! I dig your videos man
Thanks man, I dig the peepos!
Thanks, man, this was really good.
This was great. Love just general healing guide thrown in.
Nice videos u do mate ! Keep on doing the good job !

Was planning on going tank, but this makes me rethink my lvling spec. Did not think about that option.

If it ends up being practical, sure. Depending on how they do beta, I could maybe do it there for a direct comparison, I'll keep it in mind!

Great video. Dreamstate druid is my preferred 2vs2 and 3vs3 spec also.
the true hybrid
i have been waiting since corecraft
i really liked the quick meta guides :)
Retri QMG should be coming over the next 12-16 hours I hope! Rogue after that!
This way of leveling was my exact plan ☺️

About the healing with that specc. I guess you would still use Healing touch. What ranks would you use with regards to the downranking nerf in TBC?
With that spec I would still mostly rely on lifebloom for tanks, regrowth or rejuv for any additional / splash damage. In terms of rank, just max rank, your mana will be very good unless your shifting too often into moonkin for the extra dps rather than just adding DPS in caster form
Thank you so much bud
good vid thx. I noticed a mistake in your quests list: Gava'xi is in NAGRAND and not in Netherstorm :)
Why intensity and nature's swiftness first than dreamstate and moonkin form?
*Saves the fuck out of this video* I can't wait to be a beautiful boomkin again

Damn man, i main a feral druid and truly can tell you this is the most unique class in wow, not only in beeing hybrid! ;)
Why are you taking furor?
I totally love the Quest tips section. Every class should have similar one
That's the plan! Eventually at least!
I was 3 boxing druids to 60 but quit when they changed policy.
Why only playing restokin season 3 in arena ? what makes it better than the previous seasons ?

I believe I’ll let fell reaver go visit the ally’s. They been too fn smug up on their hill
35% of +healing converts into +spell dmg in tbc?? really??
I am still farming Anzu in retail.

Rkin is great for anything except raiding. raiding you are pigeonholed into a tree to just spam hots and decurse, the worst anti druid talent ever.
