Very well done for a first attempt. From what I've seen, the main thing about Nightcore is to not speed the song up too much - start off with a small value (ex: 5% faster), and see how that sounds. You can then undo it and try a higher speed if needed.

I'm going to be honest, I hate Nightcore, it's so rare to actually find good nightcore, but I feel this is one of the better Sonic nightcores, because it doesn't sound like a chipmunk running on a fucking treadmell, but it's still a bit too fast to sound better than the original...
