If anyone deserves to have this Star it's Hugh Laurie. Steven Fry's talk was heartfelt, funny and completely accurate. Fry and Laurie are close friends and have been for many years. What a wonderful award and tribute for an incredible actor and an amazing man. God bless you Hugh Laurie, you're loved and cherished by millions upon millions of adoring fans.
As much as I love Hugh and Stephen, as much as I love their double act, I still wish the great Rowan Atkinson was here to give a speech. To see the big three of Blackadder in the same place so many years later would've been beautiful. That said, Stephen's speech was all that was needed. Their brotherhood is something I think everyone wishes they have, and if they have anything even remotely like theirs, they should be bloody well thankful. Big love to Hugh and Stephen.
