- Silent Hill 3 Review
Silent Hill 3 among many is considered to be the last good Silent Hill game as the series would veer off into another direction it would never quite recover from after it. Rather than created a story not connected to the original two games Silent Hill 3 would go on to continue the story from Silent Hill and expand on some of the events, the first game left vague or uncovered. Silent Hill’s Gameplay is the best the series has been, and while the characters are weaker Heather is also a really great characters.

Great review! This was my first Silent Hill game and I have a lot of great memories of it. I have a hard time choosing between this one, 4, and the first as my favorite though. Looking forward to the next one!

It's a mark of shame that as a 40 year old gamer I never played a silent hill game. I love RE but when silent hill 1+2 came out I was busy with other games and never got back to them. I will get to them one day 😂
It's been my first time playing them myself and I've loved them
sadly i never pkayed silent hill 3. I didnt dive much into it as the game did get hit with criticism upon release about the "action" elements. I knew about that but i did not know she got a katana lmao
Did you get the Happy Birthday scene? Also, interested to know what difficulty you play on. I've been playing these on hard on my most recent run through and I think there's definitely a lot more need to explore everything and save ammo/healing on the higher difficulty.
I played it on Normal. I did get the happy birthday scene it was kinda unnerving lol.

I didn't I've been trying to play catch up on bills since I was out for my surgery. I want to pick it soon though as I'd like to try and review cold steel iii and iv next year.
