Wow...a Tommyized Blackmore solo - holy shit. Did anyone but me notice (at 2:56) that Glenn Hughes was on stage with Tommy at the concert portrayed in this video, and he later joined in on the chorus (at 10:46)? Tommy got Glenn's part perfect (and then some) in the recording. Sooooo glad he's back with more amazing shit.
Thanks for a fun reaction, as always. Rhapsody in rock was a 3 night show in July. I was there on the last night. It was great! Tommy was just awesome and the voice of Glenn Hughes was out of this world. So glad that I got to see and hear all that. Some Tommy videos from that night on my channel.
It's almost unbelievable what Tommy can get out of a guitar with his big hands. Perfect cover of this song. I like it very much. Would have been burned in other times. Red hair and green eyes😂😂
Great reaction 😃 You know Tommy did play Smoke on the water there on Dalhalla but the singer was Glenn Hughes, Deep Purple . You can se them together in the video ❤. I really hope Tommy send him the video ❤
I'd call this a bad idea for most people. I mean covering Coverdale, Lord, Paice, and for God's sake Blackmore? But honestly hes just that good. Its not that its perfectly replicated. It isn't. Its Tommified. Which in a lot of ways is better. I even learned something. I'd thought this was Ian Gillian on vocals but it was off the 76 album after he left. Great reaction!
Mate, please just Google what Robert Wells Rhapsody in Rock actually is... It's so much more than "one of these events".. Calling it that is a huge insult..
Seeing Glenn Hughes / Deep Purple on stage with Tommy and the band makes this tune even more incredible
Tommy Johansson is an absolute star. Tks for the reaction ❤
Dalhalla is such a cool place! I was there 2 of 3 nights to see Tommy and it was sooo good, the highlight of this summer🤩❤️

Glenn Hughes sang this song at that show! It was great!
Ха блин Я из Хабаровска РФ люблю когда пальцы играют по грифу гитары и барабаны булькают и клавишные ❤

I think he played his guitar when Glenn Hughes sang Smoke on the water. 😂
He did and I have it on video... 😂

Dalhalla Sweden
dalhalla should tour us with him but he is already in majestica
Playing onstage with Glenn Hughes... That was definitely not the radio edit version.
Subbed :)
Also its interesting he did it in Ian's style vocally not really David's
You're getting confused, David Coverdale & Glenn Hughes did the vocals together with Glenn doing the high notes sections so that's his style.
@@bluesdoc737Yup, and I have to say that I rather listen to Tommy's high pitch than Glenn's here in Burn.
I got the joke lol. Had a 13 year old with a new guitar and amp.....
