same!! even when i do photo mode, that depth haze thing that you can select in photo mode doesn't pick up my character. i wonder if it would help unistalling and then reinstalling star stable.
The blur works but it does not focus, means everything's blurry. Can I do something to fix it? I have all my numbers set the same as they are in this video.

@@del_rides first step is to check whether reshade is getting the depth info or not, which is required in order to use depth dependent effects such as adof. You can do this by toggling on DisplayDepth fx the both side should look 3d if one of them looks flat (solid colour, black or pink) that means the reshade isn't getting depth info. For this you need to go to Edit global processor definitions, there will be Reshade_depth_input_is_reversed set to 0, change it to 1. For most games this fixes it, if it doesn't then try changing the other values to 1 till you get the depth setup properly.

you have to adjust the manual depth and hyperfocal depth thingys until it matches! i usually get my character in focus by 250-350 in the manual depth setting then you just heighten the heck outta hyperfocal til it looks the way you want

Does anyone have tips for making your own presets? This was super helpful for basic effects but I’m still learning and wondering if there are any other tutorials out there. Also, I have a question about stagedepthplus specifically. I’ve had presets where you download the png and it tells you to just pop it in your textures folder instead of changing it to stage image and the background shows up. how do you create this when making a preset and what’s the difference from changing it to stage image?

Can you only use reshade if you have a home key on your laptop keyboard is there any keys to use instead of that is a am struggling with it? EDIT: to get to the menu

Its your depth buffer, I also had that problem, Jess North wood has a tutorial in her Reshade Master Guide to set up your Depth Buffer

Sadly ADOF and some other effects don’t work for me, so I have to work with what I can use
I had the same issue, once I turned off shadows, anti-aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering and Reflections everything worked for me :)
