Yall HAVE to understand that not everyone lives with a camera recording themselves every day. If someone asks u not to film them u should at least be respectful and not film them. There are plenty of food reviewers that don’t show the employees. It wouldn’t even have taken away from ur video.

Just because someone doesn’t want to be recorded doesn’t mean they’re sketchy or they don’t have customer service . Most of your videos I like but the eating at sketchy restaurants is starting to make me think differently you think negatively and at the end was uncalled for when you said let me leave before they start something again and we have to fist fight smh .
I thought the women at the lunch stop bar was mad chill. You could tell as she walked up she wasn’t keen on being on camera but she was a smart ass in a fun cool way. I thought a $10 tip was a little light considering she seemed to be the waitress, cook and probably bartender as well.
I have made the comment before and pay attention when I can see what they tip and I always think it's super low considering this is their content. You make money by them serving you. Ve a little more generous
I think it’s safe to assume since you guys are so used to cameras, you tend to forget other ppl simply don’t like being recorded. I rewatched, and I don't think he was quite at the level of hostile about it. He was slightly aggressive but not out of frame. Their handling of it was fine too. Immediately offered to blur him, then cut the camera off when he requested.

@@tjbrowerNo, technically, they are on private property, I.e. the business’ property. The business, and its agents, has the right to ask not to be filming while on that property. Now, they can film from public spaces like the sidewalk our outside the property.
So what happened was: Guy didnt want to be recorded (I didnt notice him being rude all I saw was him being assertive) so then you put him and his place of work on blast even leaving an impression that you would have your followers call and complain (or whatever followers do). Dude. You cant try and ruin a guys life by him losing his job or whatever because he asked not to be recorded. Thats just weird energy.

I thought it was was a sort of classisum. Mainly because they are from LA and they just moved to the south. I'm from Mississippi and I've been in Atlanta for 13 years. I notice that people from New York and LA or Philly look down their noses at southern people. So figured they just thought they are better than southerners. Claiming the last restaurant made you feel sick is a lot more serious than you think. Employees tampering with food is illegal and could lead to serious reprimands or jail time for the employee. That stuff is no joke and shouldn't be used as a way to shade.

Theyre not entitled to bust their camera out and start recording. If they're in a supposed sketch area, the first thing they should think about is how suspicious they come off, pulling out a cam without even having a conversation. B & Jake can choose where they "work" but the folks behind the counter, that's their livelihood. They didn't sign up to be animals in a zoo.

Literally in some houses, there’s a 2nd bathroom connected to the kitchen due to plumbing reasons. Why be grossed out by something so normally that makes sense to everyone else? Some people don't like to be filmed. If you weren't the UA-camr making decent money, and instead served burgers, would you want to be filmed the other way around? Even outside of employment, some people just don't want to be on film. It should be their right according to human code. If somebody doesn't want to be recorded, don't record them, don't make a meme about it, don't include them, just stop recording them. Easy.

Just because you say you will blur someone out, doesn’t mean it’s still okay to record people. That person is trusting a stranger to do what they will with footage of them and even if you blur them they still have their voice on there and where they work.

Just be respectful of people who don't want to be recorded. It isn't going to hurt your videos to edit them in such a way that is respectful to those around you. Voice overs is totally a thing and not a cop out.

I thought the whole point of this series was to not judge a book by its cover yet you guys clearly were doing that in this video. Just because someone was weirded out by you guys recording doesn't mean they would spit in your food. You guys were even hesitant to be honest and say that the food was good because you were worried they somehow concocted a spit infused chicken wing sauce. Not to mention how incredibly reckless and unprofessional it is to encourage your fans into making negative yelp reviews on a resturant that both of you said tasted good anyway. It wasn't bad service, you 2 are just extremely entitled and lost track of your own message that you were trying to spread with these videos.

I know everyone else is already saying it in the comments but they are right, not everyone wants to be filmed. Maybe the dude had a bad experience with someone else filming him, and tbh it makes workers feel like some zoo animal on display. We're just doing our jobs, usually if there's a camera, we think something is up automatically these days. Please learn from this and I hope you take this into consideration in future videos.

I think the morale of the story is just ask people before you film them. It only takes a minute and you can edit it out. I wouldnt just be expecting people to be okay with it off the bat! Plus not doing it is a major data protection issue.

This wasn’t condescending at all. They do both reviews. Fancy places and dive bars. They do videos based on what people want. And a lot of people have wanted them to do this which is why they did it. They are absolutely amazing.

I love your vids and def can understand your point, however, not everybody wants their face or identity on camera...what if you are in hiding or witness protection, or need to keep your privacy just because. They do not get paid enough to have their identity taken without permission. I enjoy the content but if someone filmed me without my permission i would feel violated. Hope this helps.
