brandon hall That’s why I play this song for my 6 year old niece and 11 year old nephew. It’s never too young to learn that women deserve respect, and men should give it. Always makes me annoyed seeing male politicians brushing off women’s issues as if they forgot the only reason they are able to stand there and brush off women’s issues is because a woman brought them into this world. I also think his attitude of acknowledging shit sucks and the deck is stacked against so many based on the color of your skin, your neighborhood, poverty, etc. but deciding you gotta keep fighting to survive and look towards hope is important for everyone but especially kids. I wish I was a little more prepared for how shitty life really was because it can hit you hard! This song should be required education!

Keep your head up. I am Brazilian and left Brazil amidst unemployment, economic chaos nearly 30 yrs ago. Came to the UK with my two kids to try to give them a better future . Their dad never helped there and never helped here. Today looking back looking back, it was worthy, even when things got scary. As long you keep your head up, and be strong, you will win it. Wishing you all the best in life.
It's good he left, because if he stayed it would have been heartache and headache for you and your boy. You're strong without him. You'll find someone someday that's worth your love and that'll love your family in return. Just got to keep your head up.
@pea_ghee It's worse than the 80s-90s, terrorist attacks everywhere, big ass fucking civil war in syria, several civil wars in middle-east over the past 6 years. It's not like tupac said the 90s were good, but he said that the future will be fucked, and he's right.
You could be a middle aged rich upper class white man and still understand tupac. He's up there with people like Bob Marley in terms of appeal to everyone
So true! I'm a tiny white girl that has lived in bad and good areas and Tupac is by far my favorite performer there is! I love him and his messages so much! There have been times in my life that his words were the only thing 2 pull me through. I owe the man my life, no pun intended. God bless everyone!
That line in this song reminds me of a line in one of Tracy Chapman's songs that says "why are the missiles called peace keepers, when they're aimed to kill." So true, and so much truth in great music, but a lot of people listen to the beat rather than the words to a song - a profound song - and Tupac and Tracy (and others) had things to SAY in their music. It wasn't just a cute little poem made into a song. IT WAS ABOUT REAL LIFE. :(
That's right. I'll be sent to active countries soon. Like Iraq or Afganistan, i dont even know, but i gotta go and do that, cause that's the law - join army or some kind of university.

R.i.p. to the great all mighty legend tupac. Hands down the best rapper that ever lived. He influenced me and many others in decisions, he is my role model, he has helped millions through the rough life and achieved so much. If tupac was still alive, there would have been no fetty wap, drake or justin beiber. Please someone out here release tupacs vibe in rap again, todays rap is nothing but trash... tupac, we need you.
There is only two modern rappers than can some what touch Tupac and Common and that's J Cole and Kendrick Lamar but still they aren't as poetic as Common and Tupac
I love you pac ❤️ I swear when going through as a single abandoned mother and woman your lyrics motivate me daily and of course our Heavenly Father guides me I keep my head up
Why would anyone want to kill such a big dreaming, loving man with so much respect for other people! He created such beautiful pieces of poetry. He had gangster rap toned downed just enough were he could just openly express his thoughts and feelings on problems of the world. I still can't find out why someone would kill such an open hearted man. Rest In Peace Tupac

My break up song. This song heals me nothing else does. When he says, "if he can't learn to love you then you should leave him. Cause sista you don't need him", I feel SO empowered. Might be dying inside but outside looking fearless. I hear this, and even though I want to look down and cry, I wipe my tears and keep my head up. Gone but still making a difference. R.I.P Tupac
•Penguin Love• Lol my baby daddy has a friend who went to a hotel party in cali and tupac literally said to all the women "If you aint fucking or sucking then you need to leave" and she a few girls left anf we're gonna assume whoever stayed helped tupac and his boys out that night 😂. Hero worship all you want but he was a womanizer.
Ok so i never liked rap. I don't think the music is bad but i was never drawn to it. Today i just sort of wandered in youtube and bumped into Tupacs songs. I can say that without a doubt if i would have heard him while growing up i would have looked differently on rap. Where were all the great rappers when i was growing up?
Bro the good rappers maybe gone but they legacy is still here by their music. Fuck the media they always fuck up shit but tupac said a couple things to never forget that dont believe everything you read, the illuminati is an ilusion to NOT believe in or think its real and this song you gotta keep ya head up. Finally its this song again, it is a sin to leave your child or cheat on a girl. Unless your not married or you have children, then it depends on the situation
I can't believe this isn't the music that is playing 24/7 on the radio. I found one station. What man lifts up his own and women with him?? Tupac does!
At 50 yrs old I still cry and miss him so much. He really stood up for black women and really cared how we were being treated. We are indeed fearless outside but inside we are chipped away at. The disrespect bw receive, tolerate, have grown numb too and even cry at night about is dehumanizing. We are empowered because we know our worth but my goodness this world truly hates us.

Samantha Chandler I love that line ❤️🙏🙏💰💲🔫
That line in this song reminds me of a line in one of Tracy Chapman's songs that says "why are the missiles called peace keepers, when they're aimed to kill." So true, and so much truth in great music, but a lot of people listen to the beat rather than the words to a song - a profound song - and Tupac and Tracy (and others) had things to SAY in their music. It wasn't just a cute little poem made into a song. IT WAS ABOUT REAL LIFE. :(
We have no reason to feed the poor, people who can't make a life out of a dream deserve to be left to die.
That's right. I'll be sent to active countries soon. Like Iraq or Afganistan, i dont even know, but i gotta go and do that, cause that's the law - join army or some kind of university.
