Exactly....when teenagers actually had to use their minds and had extensive vocabularies! These kids could learn a lot from Tupac Shakur today! He was polite, well spoken, articulate and very innocent at 17 but he was still able to understand things beyond his years! Tupac wasn't a true musican, he was a trained Ballerina and Drama Theater student who also liked to write poetry. Well, the average 17 year old is certainly not brought up the way he was. As a matter of fact, the overwhelming majority isn't. He was raised by revolutionaries and great speakers (his mom was an orator for the BBP) while experiencing crushing poverty, homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, frequently moving to different locations and all the while having a mom who made sure from early on that he understood the power of knowledge, reading, COMPREHENDING AND CRITICAL ANALYSIS.
