A intruder is generally a style and platform,,,- 2 station fly with general body separation, mostly each of the two stations has a dubbing ball,a shoulder hackle- like artic fox or polar bear or golden pheasant or dubbing loop mix etc,,, and finally a ostrich or rhea hackle ( though less popular marabou and/or other hackle can be used),,.. his fly has 2 stations with a tinsel body separation like a intruder
awesome video..easy to see you have tied one or 2 thousand flies before......one thing i would change is that i would have whip finished the thread and reattached it instead of jumping in front of the tungsten weight..if that thread gets cut the whole fly comes apart in 1 or 2 casts...i know this from experience because i tie a pattern very similar to this myself......
Is a intruder fly a style of tie, or the body separation?
