If agriculture continues to deplete ground water from aquifers, then we will never be able to celebrate a win like this. We have to be responsible and smart about our water. Resivours are only one piece of the puzzle.
This small farmer gets his water from Lake Oroville , the lake is full and going over the spillway yet our allotment is only 40% . Why ? Buy the way I have to pay for 100% of my allotment .
The damn didn't generate electrical power when it was needed and windmill and solar are not going to do it either so the best thing is stick with fossil fuels. If you want to mess around with some renewables you go right ahead and when you get to the point where they're actually capable of doing something let me know.

Wow so they screwed up again and ignored the 60% full flood protection standard before run off.
The 60% rule is for winter .The Spring runoff is very predictable
