That's 1 thing that they must fix on these pressers. Can never really hear the darn questions. Gotta get that fixed.

Agree. I know he doesn't give two fucks but he was mercilessly mocked and ridiculed 3+ years ago. That dude is one of the cornerstones of the turn around. He's the Fords' property manager. He's done well.
ALSO, the NFL sucks balls but you go to war with the army you have, not the army you want.
Martha gave him free reign and he hired Bob Quinn, he let Bob Quinn fire Caldwell and hire Matt Patricia AND he was the reason for the skiff with Calvin Johnson in the first place.
Ownership changing to Sheila Hemp and her hiring Chris Spielman and listening to him instead of this guy is what turned the Lions around. Sheila and Chris deserve ALL the credit for putting the right people in place. He proved he couldn't do it but has now had his heiny saved in the public eye.
Can we get Chris & Sheila on next? 🙏
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sheila for bringing in the ownership commitment you have. It's wonderful to watch all that you have done from the beginning of your tenure and what has become of your decisions.

why is the audio ALWAYS so horrible. You can NEVER hear the questions with Lions media. multi million dollar organization cant have the equipment needed for simple audio.

Appreciate the update on Cam Sutton, since the only reporting was that he had not been seen since March 7.
Make sure that our new uniforms are COLOR COORDINATED with the Blue Helmets!!!!!
The Lions were prohibited from changing their team alternate uniform color last year. The NFL has some silly rule about how often teams can change alternate UNI colors. The Lions were able to add an alternate helmet, because they had not done that in a long time. So the pairing of the Color Rush Grays with the Mustang Racing Stripes Blue Helmet was the best they could do last year.

And if they brought back the silver (metallic grey): that would be out of this world 🔥 🔥 🔥 … I’m looking forward to what it will be. Honolulu Blue, Siver and White! White with silver and blue striped pants? Honolulu blue with silver and white stripes? Silver pants with Honolulu Blue and white stripes?
I just goggle the Lions ticket prices vs the league prices and they're on par. With that being said I do miss the lower rate,but I understand team was losing and so you charged losing rate.

Lots of great info and insight here. Rod is clearly of high intelligence and good humor. But if we don't hear the questions then we're all out here just guessing what the hell we're talking about for a good portion of this session. Sure some of Rod's answers make it easy to deduce a few of them..
To the Detroit Lions Media team: Confusion is an emotion that easily lends to anger. I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to say.. There has GOT to be a way to get some more microphones placed around these events.

Disner has his hands in so much "stuff" with the organization, a jack of all trades I guess. Vastly under/rated as to what he brought to this organization in this turn around. Remember he was a hold over from the last regime, so he must be doing something right. At some point he becomes a Pres. of some NFL team I'd bet.

Because the original Honolulu Blue is actually a dark blue. They lightened up over the years.
I hate the Grey. Actually all Grey. Our colors are blue white why is there Grey. Especially with no designs. Just the color

You can attempt to justify that price jump all u want, but the fact is, regardless of league average, that was ridiculous!!!! The percentage jump was way too big for normal people! And u justifying it by saying that most people went with it is dishonest at best. Its not that they considered it acceptable, they got cornered after many years of owning those tickets. This team is vastly better, and we appreciate that. But, many of us are ashamed at how fast you jumped on the gouge em bandwagon after decades of futility. You still haven’t won crap!
