Only thing as an engineer you ram the knuckle to hard at 7mph. The max speed is 2 or 3 mph. It's cool though but just sayin from my personal train simulator experience. I got a raidriver on the way Tues or Wed. YAY! \o/

Where did you get the console
Do you haver to use the power supply? I see in the instructions is adds to the driving experience. I have one that given to me but it does not have the power supply.

Just some info. You RUN an engine. You don't drive it. You Drive a car. You run an engine, the train is secondary. You don't drive a train either, you pull a train. If you want to do it right.
Drive (Verb)- propel or carry along by force in a specified direction, in this case, the tracks specify direction

Not in to trains myself but kinda looks cool. Would give the simulators a try if there was a demo

Unfortunately, the GP7 is not designed correctly in the game to run in long hood forward, like it was In real life. If you mean why am I running the pusher engine, that's because the scenario I'm playing has me on a helper service to Johnstown.
so forward locos even work? are they in synch in anyhow with the rear urs if they produce some work?
from the video it doesnt seem like they even on...
will it work on PC? or desktop only?
Railworks is run on PC, so yes it will. The controller requires you to install macroworks to configure and calibrate the controller. But after that your all set! Please note however that some locomotives will not operate with the controller... Don't ask my why I don't know either haha.
Thanks, it's just I'm getting it hopefully in a January sale, was just getting a bit worried if I was about to buy the raildriver for nothing, as I have a PC.
how much this game setup
The controller I believe was around $200.00 US.
I don't mean to be rude, as I appreciate seeing this in action. But shouldn't you actually be talking if this is a review - you know, giving us your opinion of how it works? I'm none the wiser after watching this sadly. I don't know if it is good, bad, fully compatible....nothing :(
I'm curious about the throttle as it appears to be notched....but some U.K trains have a smooth 0-100% action and I am not sure how well that would control those? Do you lose the ability to have that finesse? Cheers
