how much prep work goes into the films! great video! I have always trouble to print really black films ;/ totally need to work on this step of the printing process
I just set up my Epson SC T2170 for my home screen printing hobby and just came here looking for tips but, wow! Now i want to come work for you! :) I've always been a Corel Draw guru for my all-in-one graphic solutions. But going to check out Separation Studio NXT right now. It looks so slick! Thank you so much for this video and sharing your expertise!
Fantastic video, thank you! Can I ask if you know a reputable supplier for the PET film here in the UK? We are in Bristol and just need to find some for a little project! Thanks! Simon
hi love all the videos we have an older epson pro 7800 which has had all the cartridges in how complex is it to convert it to all black system or could you point me towards some videos etc thanks john
Hey, there are a few considerations - please look at this page for more info on compatible printers and operating systems solutionsforscreenprinters.com/supported-printers/
I need to know the specific name of te transparent pet sheet you use. We are using clear transparent PET that is expensive on industrial bases.please suggest some cheaper solutions please.
Hey, this isn't branded ink, it is compatible. You can get whole set ups from Solutions for screen printers and use my discount code which is CRP5 to get some money off. Those guys sell the ALL BLACK INK which is comparable to mine.
Saw that you gave the screen an initial spray from your high powered spray washer on both sides, how long do you let it sit before finishing the washout?
Random question. But I'm printing films from a roll. How do I make it cut right after printing? Like for when I just have something small to print. Mine wants to feed out the rest of the artrboard and then cut whether on auto cut or not.
Hey, I tend to make the artboard the size I want it to print and choose custom as the print size. So technically mine prints the artboard too but that is easier to adapt in Adobe to minimise film waste.
@@squeegeeandink thanks! I've also been changing the height size to fit the art. I guess that's a change for me with a new printer. I'm so use to sheets lol.
Hey! I used a syringe a few times or did a power flush…. I have also printed a large rectangle and hoped it would push a load of ink out and hopefully flush through - the absolute best thing to maintain it is just to use it regularly or at least do test prints to keep it moving through the lines
Hey, I have answered in my Printers Corner series too. I got mine for £2000 plus vat. I didn't say these were cheap and I know they are overkill for most normal t-shirt screen printers. This one is great for me because I print film commercially and also print 110cm width film.
I am following you from Mexico, I really like how your workshop and the tools you use, thanks for sharing this valuable information!
Awesome, thank you!

Awesome - we just fixed our discount code again too. (in the description) let me know how you get on with it!
you had me at Corel Draw.... :)
la tinta que usas es pygmentada o dye? porque yo uso dye y no es opaca
Thank you🙏🙏🙏
Any time!

all of the printers recommended are discontinued or not that available, where can i buy an Epson T3270 in the UK?
Would you be able to print the same transparencies on the SureColor P9000 ?
Which printer is best for 24" width for positive films?
Epson T3270
Hello, can we use the Epson L1800 and convert it to print the same kind of positives ? Also would the pigment ink be compatible through this model.

After exposure, can film be reused again? How to store it?
yes nothing happens to the film itself
Yes, goes in a draw if it is useful or the recycling if you have a good waste management company.
Please make a video registering the screens please!
Hey Mikhael, we can always make more videos on this! Here is one we made a while ago. ua-cam.com/video/s-RKDXbJ1MQ/v-deo.html
i have HPT120 printer and i was wondering which black INK is bet to use for printing on films
I was going to say overkill but then I watched the video 👍
Hey thanks for the vid what’s the code for the t shirt you’re using? I really like them 👍🏻
Hey Creator Splatter iconic unisex t-shirt (STTU786)
@@squeegeeandink thanks
very informative video! may i know what kind of film do you use for printing?
Hey, yes it is inkjet film and you can get it here with discount code CRP5 - screenprintworld.co.uk/product/screen-printing-output-film-roll/
Does anyone know what the US equivalent to this printer is?
Where can I get the film
How would I do cmyk with NXT
Please, Can you recommend inexpensive screen printer for small business.
A small Epson printer is your best bet in my opinion
do I need accuRIP to use NXT
In the USA the epson printers are locked. most of the new epson printers need to use oem inks
Yeah that’s crappy. They actually tried to discontinue this one a few times but all the screenprinters kept wanting it for printing films!
that was very helpful. where can I get the same t-shirt to print on? i love all your t shirts
It will be from Stanley Stella - I get mine straight from them or through Ralawise in the UK
what ink are you using? What brand? I have a new Canon Pixma iX6850 printer and I don't know what ink to use.

Hey, probably about 20 seconds. I tend to wait to see it start to slip down and then spray gently.
Excellent video!!! Very informative. I have a T3200 and I’m looking to set up all black cartridges. Where did you get your cartridges? Thanks
Hey, thanks - I went to Colourbest in the UK. Great ink and cartridges and support

Epson will still honor the warranty modified or not .
Is the ink they use pigmented or dye? because I use dye and it is not opaque
Pigmented as far as I know
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I'M GOING TO CHANGE TO SEE IF THEY ARE BETTER
How does one get rid of "air bubbles" in the ink lines of the printer?

Finally UK English!
Hey Chessie,
How do you find the SkinniFit type tee's for printing on.
Hey, I don't actually print on those so can't really comment.
@@squeegeeandink oh! What is the manufacturer of the T-Shirt if you don't mind me asking.
@@PlunderingProduction it’s Stanley/Stella 🤘
will this work with no rip software?
A lot of the tips will - but RIP does really make a big impact
Great info! codes are being rejected.
Hey, Which ones? I tested 5 and they seem fine. The Sep Studio Not codes are only for Sep Studio NXT CRP5
@@squeegeeandink That was the problem, I purchased it separately. Thanks 🙏🏼
You get asked the same question time after time because you never provide the information
No mention that they are £3,000 new approx

le recomiendo usar tintas al agua, son mas amigable con el medio ambiente y para prevención de tu salud
Cool thanks Eider, that is something to think about!
