Love the video ❤️❤️❤️
I know this is late but im thinking of asking for some watercolours for my birthday. You are amazingly talented! This is adorable
Aww that's awesome!!! You can always start with a cheaper crayola set! I have a video of me using it and in it you can see that it doesn't matter what quality watercolors you use, just be sure to use at least 140lb paper and a cheap one of that is Canson XL, it's actually the one I use the most. Let me know if you have questions when you start painting! :)
Yasmina Creates Thanks!
what's the color palette that you're using? looks beautiful!
I have a lot of different brands on my palette but most of them are Mission Gold Watercolors. I got the 36 color set. The palette itself is called Artria No.239 Professional Artist Aluminum Water Color Palette on amazon. I hope that helps! :)
Thanks so much for the help! I will be ordering a pad soon. (:
Whoops wrong area >~
Everything is quite simple and understandable here!
Yay!!! :D
Hey! If you don’t know I got inspired by the drawing and made one, posted to Instagram and AmandaRachLee liked that! 😇🤤😲
Aww that's awesome!! Link me the post, I'd love to see what you painted! :)

Thank you ❤️🙌🏽😩
Incredible 🌹🌹
This is sooo goood
Thank you!! You can do it too!! :D
Wonderful
Lovely
Thanks , I will be doing this soon 😊 but does this work with the tubed water colour paints ?
Yes! I used tubed paints, actually. I just squeeze them out on my palette. You can use any kinds of watercolors for any watercolor paintings! :)
So beautiful
Glad you like it! Thank you!!!
I would love to follow your class, it would be a pleasure.. But I don't have a credit card and I can't sign :( but anyway, thank you so much for these tips AND your free course! They're so helpful!

Thank you! Everyone is a great artist, they just have to practice! :D
soooooooooo fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
amazing video*such wonderful..
Thank you! :)
Nice tutorials amazing .what kind of watercolor paper you're using?
Thank you sooo much for this! I'm an architecture student with really horrible watercolor portfolios hahaha
Haha it takes time to get the hang of it! :D That sounds awesome though! I really love watercolor and ink urban sketching and architecture illustrations!! So gorgeous!
Nice tutorial. Calming voice too :)
Thanks! Glad you liked it! :)
❣️
Amazing! I loved this tutorial! It was my first time using water colour, so my watermelon turned out pretty bad ☹️
Make sure to keep it to compare and see how good you get later on! :P But if it's your first time ever that's no surprise! Keep practicing!!!
Wow that was awesome...i have subscribed to your channel
Aww thank you Sofia!! :)
nice water color painint.your tennich is great.
Thank you!! :)
Your artwork is beautiful. I really want to try this. What paper do you use?
Thank you!! It's this exact paper: amzn.to/2x4MGPB Anything 140lb or up should be good though.
Thank you. Do you recommend any brand of watercolour paint too?
Shehani Mendis I'm a little late, but the type of paint she uses is in the description 💜
V nice
1:47 heart shape ❤️
Omg! I see it! :D
Would a mixed media paper work for this or is there too much water for the paper to hold?
That depends on the weight of it. Is it at least 140lbs? If so, then yes, if not, then no. You can always test it to be sure.
What kind of paper should i use?
I left a list of supplies used under the video, if you want to get what I use. The paper has to be at least 140lbs and labelled as watercolor paper to not warp too much. My favorite paper is this: amzn.to/2y7gsGX
I like it my mom and friend can paint really good like this I wanna be abet to do it I wanna do this thanks for the viedo is
Nice :)
I love how it looks but my palette paper is rising so most of the paint is going to thoughs. areas so I can't create the look like u did. But, yours still looks amazing
Hey Victoria! It sounds like you're using paper that is too thin! Be sure to get paper that is at least 140lb!! This is extremely important in watercolor, since everything below will warp way too much!
Thanx, for your help I'll remember to note that.😊
wow good gob
niiice :)
its very beautiful! can you draw a lemon picture
Sounds fun!! :) I'll put it on my list!
When I try this all the water does in the beginning is rip and get soggy, there is no puddle forming... I can't even get a hard edge on the sides of my watermelon. Should I use a specific type of paper, because i'm just using regular card stock right now. Yours looks so awesome and professional!
What paper are you using? This sounds like its a paper quality issue :(
Hey Liv! You definitely have to use watercolor paper with watercolor! I recommend at least 140lb paper. The one I used here is actually really cheap, it's this one: www.amazon.com/Watercolor-Pad-X12-Fold-Over/dp/B004M59O4C
I usually use this paper and it's great for the price and because it makes fun textures! Once you try out real watercolor paper all the problems you mentioned will disappear! :) Let me know if you need more help!
Классно
Spasiba! :D
Do uu have to use watercolour paper?
Yesss!! If you don't, the paper will buckle and become really warped. It's not a good look and is hard to work with, also forget about layering! You can find cheap papers like this one: amzn.to/2x4MGPB (it's the same paper I used in this video!)
Hey! What's that paper called?
It's canson XL paper, make sure it's 140lb! This is the exact one: amzn.to/2x4MGPB
Can someone tell me what is a Taklon?
(sorry english is not my first language)
I'm not sure what you mean by Taklon? When in the video do I say this word? & it's ok!! :)
🧸🧸💚💚💚💚
I bought the Canson 200gsm WC paper and the rough side looks like tissue paper when painted on why
It ruins my art
200gsm is like 90lb paper, it's way too thin. You have to use at least 140lb paper which is 300gsm. This is the paper I recommend: amzn.to/2x4MGPB
Your painting is soo good! 💕😃
I really like your painting
I copied you but your better
Can you tell me how to paint good 😅
Practice, practice, practice!!!! :D
my name is yasmeen
This is so tumblr😂💕
Yasmina, I saw you replying to a comment in Russian, and Yasmina is a central/East Asian name, are you one of these Pakistani, Persian, Uzbek which is my country, or one something else?
name of paper please?
All the supplies are listed in the description! :) Paper: amzn.to/2x4MGPB
The result is very awesome 💕💕💕 But unfortunately, I found the way you paint tht you used too much water. I think you could have made it more easier. If you make the paper wet, don't put too much water in palette. If you wanna have much water in palette, don't make your paper too wet or just let it dry. You can make them both wet but controlling water is very important here. So you dont need correction many times with tissue or u don't even need a hair dryer. Painting is a free thing with free ways you have but think more about the time and effectiveness. I Thought the way in the video is a better way for watercolor background. But again, I still love the result....💕
I wanna do this but then I don't have that kind of paper
Edisa Kuroki it's watercolor paper aka aquarella paper, and it's actually pretty cheap and easy to find
It's NOT easy! I was trying and it was difficult
I'm sorry to hear that! My advice is to try again, you'll learn more every time you do!
Ugh this makes no sense,🙄 jk I love this😆🤗
Thirsty brush. 😂
Lol!
This is nothing how I painted with my water colors
Did you use thick enough paper that is at least 140 lb? It's all just practice, so don't worry about it too much! :)
I would definitely NOT recommend this to any beginners I have been water painting for years and it's still took me multiple times to get any where close to hers
Change The Earth You don’t need to make it identical. Do you! It will never look exactly like hers.
The Llamacorn I know but mine ended up looking like a dieing mule eating a small dog
Maybe you're not using thick enough paper? Or maybe you're used to different techniques from mine? I'm sorry it didn't work out, but there are no bad paintings, just practice!! :D So, be happy anyways and just enjoy the ride!
watermelon is red. and u did pink😀😀😃😃😄😄😆😈
It's your art so you can do whatever you want! ;)
it was easy but you kind of talked fast
soooooooooo fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
