If you *really* want to go crazy, it should be noted that James and Kirk had different tones that were blended to make the final sound; James had a Boogie Triaxis preamp, Kirk was (supposedly) running some kind of Marshall. Kirk's tone is more mid-heavy and doesn't seem to have quite the gain/sustain of James' sound, which is more typical squished and scooped kind of sound.
my little trick is the main one has a high cut at 4k while kirks part has mostly high frequencys so i removed some low end on that one with one of them eqs

It really is all in the EQ, I try to get a close tone with the first Mod EQ then go crazy with the Post EQs lol. I like to think ive trained my ears pretty well to hear the distinct frequencies needed for the tones.
@Synthedelic the best tones I've heard, fair play to you! The katana is an amazing amp for the price, and very few people actually deep dive into the EQs, it takes real talent and skills to get the tones as accurate as you have! Keep em coming!

@@kaanozgun i’m not exactly sure about phone app, i’ve never used it. but i believe you can save the tsl file to your phone files and then import it.
