Around 2008, I was shopping at home Depot in Hollywood, CA for brackets or hinges, or something like that. I needed to use the restroom and left my cart in front of the restroom area. When I finished my business, my cart was gone! Not to far away I saw someone pushing a cart that had the stuff i was going to buy in it. I confronted the man only and realized it was Vincent Gallo! He apologized profusely for taking my cart which I assumed had items he needed. Being a fan of Buffalo 66 and his music for many years, I expressed my appreciation of his talent. He was more than happy to let me take a selfie with him and said it was at least he could do for taking my cart. He was a gentleman. I will always be a fan.
Gallo does a lot of stuff in his garage apparently who knows what he's up to over there. Apparently he doesn't want anyone to know. I know he used to do wood work and build tables and such. As well as working on motorcycles and cars. Who knows.
I saw Vincent Gallo at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
321okLiH. What was the purpose of making up that story. 100% it didn't happen. Mr. Gallo has never been reported or described and unfriendly in person. If you don't like him say so. Don't tell lies. Just because all the girls you like like him more. This bull lie won't help
@@nbaveebian7404 When I was younger, maybe junior high, I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my sister got her hair done. So there I am, sitting in the waiting area of a hair salon with my niece, and who walks in but Vincent Gallo! I was nervous as fuck, and just kept looking at him as he read a magazine and waited, but didn't know what to say. Pretty soon though my niece started crying, and I'm trying to quiet her down because I didn't want her to bother Vincent, but she just wouldn't stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asking what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So, Vincent put down his magazine, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of a hair salon. Chill guy, really nice about it.
Interesting story. A little too righteous maybe? Ok, let us also discuss the legend genius Vincent Gallo. Firstly Vincent Gallo is not a rich spoiled celebrity buying up rare audio items because he heard they were good. In fact he, more than nearly anyone else responsible for the renewed interest in most vintage audio and vintage pro audio. He goes back to collecting and using what was long ago considered out of date discarded audio equipment. He garbage picked half his collection before any of it became valuable. He wrote tons of articles about audio things long forgotten and he has the most knowledge and best ear of anyone out there. And there are hundreds who have known Gallo who have learned everything they know from Gallo. None of them however will ever know everything Gallo knows. Gallo grew up poor and worked mostly hard labor and trade jobs. He has never had mainstream success and even his masterpiece Buffalo 66 did not open well and took years to grow its audience. Gallo received $5,000 for writing directing staring in and doing the music for Buffalo 66. And instead of kissing ass and making mainstream films Gallo remained a radicle profound and outspoken creator. I am glad this guy got a beat up shitty Volvo car out of his Aengus EQ’s. And I am glad in todays crappy music industry he can peddle poorly produced music into the charts. But he is no Vincent Gallo. Listen to Gallo’s WHEN LP on Warp Records. Best recorded LP in the past 25 years. Audio collecting is Gallo’s hobby but his knowledge experience and abilities with audio are unmatched by anyone else I am aware of. And the rule of thumb is simple. If Vincent Gallo wants it. Its very very very good and very worth owning. This guy can convince himself otherwise but likely he was a fool to sell the EQ’s.
Gallo used to work at a guitar shop in NYC decades ago and he was super into this stuff even in the 1970's - 1980's. He was also broke working as a dishwasher and still collected gear that he couldn't even afford. He bought it anyway. The guy is a real music fan.
hey vincent you should go on the lydian spin (lydia lunch's) podcast. I miss your creative activity being accessible in the world. Everyone is so boring. terrible political climate right now, you would't be properly appreciated but you crack me up and have great aesthetics.
check out his instagram, fucking hilarous stuff on there. he doesn't give a shit what he says, he's like trump in that he made millions in real estate, he doesn't need a career, and nobody can take his money incentive away because he doesn't have any need for hollywood's approval for money and a career. he made more money outside hollywood. he left los angeles and now lives in Tucson arizona
Vincent flew down to Athens GA to buy a rare Travis Bean guitar from the band Harvey Milk, formerly belonging to Man Or Astro Man. He had a wad of money & another Travis Bean guitar as part of the deal. Then he asked about a good place to eat & left w/ the guitar.
So, is he trying to say that Vincent Gallo bought and EQ off him? I have no idea what an EQ is, so hopefully my trolling doesn't blow up in my face to badly, haha.
I don't think so. You could look up some of his interviews to get a better idea. He does have opinions that can be offensive but I don't believe he's racist at all.
I like cars that shift themselves.

Gallo’s interview on Howard Stern is amazing. I think he’s one of the funniest and most misunderstood dude on the planet. He’s hilarious.
Vincent Gallo is the most interesting person alive. Amazing

Gallo is a hardcore Republican. He doesn't believe in shoplifting or pretend shoplifting. good story though.
Vincent Gallo listens to King Crimson. That's saying a lot.
Vincent is a nice guy- glad you both came out ahead. 🙂

All true. But he has made his fortune in real estate. The man has very done well flipping properties. I'd love to see or hear more from him.
Vincent Gallo. Just left a great comment
I am glad he's not a phony snowflake. I love Buffalo '66 and The Funeral was fantastic. He's one of my favorites. Ever.
He hates left sjw propaganda in movies. Most modern movies and tv shows are unwatchable because of agressive sjw propaganda.
