I served in Guatemala City North Mission 01'-03' and got to serve them and learn and speak their language. I love these people with all my heart. They are the greatest people in the whole world! You will not find better! I miss them so much

I am a full time Temple worker in the Guatemala city Guatemala Temple and they come to our Temple and stay in the Temple guest homes and its always a beautiful experience when they visit us. (there is a large group of 30 here right now staying for 2 days) Many travel over 10 hours from their villages to visit the Guatemala city Temple.
I feel it an privilege to see them inside the Temple performing in various ordinances and love them so very much.
Please keep doing what you are doing to flood the earth with the Book of Mormon.
That is the plan, to spread this project to many more people throughout the world. This is just the beginning of the translation work.

This is absolutely amazing! I Served in the Guate City North Mission in 1991/92. Senahu/Semay was such a special area, when I served there, it was just a little branch. Now it's a stake! God knows the Q"eqchi people and is bringing them the gospel In a way they can understand it! He is fulfilling the promises he made to all the prophets in the Book of Mormon. This is just amazing! They are the most humble and beautiful people I have ever met! I am a huge supporter of Book Of Mormon central. Let's keep helping them help others! You can donate today!

I was called to serve in the Quetzaltenango mission, I start the MTC this January the second; I feel so grateful for being called to serve there, and I feel so happy because these people can learn about the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ in their own dialects, as the scriptures say in every tongue and town.
Have an incredible mission! Quetzaltenango is a great place with a beautiful temple.
The Lord Jesus Christ knows and loves EVERY SINGLE PERSON!

My husband served in El Salvador in 1979 as new missionary until the civil war broke out. The missionaries were sent immediately to Guatemala to serve in what was then the Quetzaltenango Mission. He was privileged to be among the first missionaries in two places in the mission, San Juan Chamelco and San Pedro Carchá. We love the Guatemalan people💕
So beautiful to hear these lovely people speak and share their testimonies in their indigenous language. What a blessing to have the scriptures in their native tongue. Not only would it be a spiritual experience, but it would also be a cultural one too. I think reading about one's own ancestry in a scriptural context can shed light on current intergenerational challenges. Gob bless these beautiful people and BOMC for this timeless gift ❤

This is so heart-touching. Thank-you for your wonderful efforts to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I live in the Nature Conservancy of the Valley of a Thousand Hills, (KwaZulu Natal, South Africa) and not too far from me are a lot of Zulu communities... so I hope you include them on your list. :)

I served in Guatemala North 97-99. Such an amazing area and people. My favorite areas as a missionary.
I served the same exact time but in the central mission. I spent most of my time in Solola and Quiche
Guatemala is a sacred place. What a wonderful place to serve a mission!
I traveled to the Polochic Valley with CHOICE Humanitarian in 2007 and these humble people changed my life. They had so little but were so happy. The reverence they showed for the church building in their community was beautiful and their love for God such a sacred thing to witness. Thank you for helping them hear the Book of Mormon in their native tongue!
Polochic is an amazing place. CHOICE is a great organization too! That's wonderful you've had the opportunity to meet the amazing Q'eqchi people!

How can I find and have access to the book of mormon videos in Q'eqchi? Have all of the Book of Mormon videos been translated into Q'eqchi or just a select few? Thanks for your help
They will be available soon in an app that we are developing. It is currently in Beta testing. Right now we have 18 videos translated into Q'eqchi, with plans to translate all seasons of the videos 1-5.
