Being on mission trips to China and Vietnam to the underground churches made me fall in love with the Lord. Seeing the passion they have for the Lord brought me to tears. Here we are in a country where we are free to worship the Lord and we take advantage of that freedom we have made me reexamine where my heart is with the Lord.
Many people have the wrong idea ofmission trips. When you go and give away backpacks, food clothes or dig wells. Let native kids paint gringos faces. That's not a mission trip that's a "handout". A missions trip is when you impact people with a message of your religion or doctrine. In my experience that would be the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto repentance of sin

I’m actually really into photography and videography and I want to take that to the mission field so badly, and I hopefully will get to soon! sorry, but could you explain to me once more how face painting with poor kids shares the spirit of God and the message with those who haven't heard it and teaches things like penance, chastity, etc.? that one girl at 3:30 with the flower leggings...that girl is my spirit animal
"more blessed to give than to receive yeah...especially when "giving" means taking an all-expenses paid vacation! then bragging about how wonderful you are, by posting a generic Christian video with high production value on social media set to a background of poppy music! SO blessed!
Why you guys don’t help your own people first??, your kids are killing each other in the public schools, go mission to small towns where the drugs are taking over the kids. You look at us like if we are exotic animals, I’m Guatemalan by the way.
