Delayed getting in to ibrox by stewards and awful turnstiles. Pretty poor away end. £4 for a bit of cardboard pretending to be a pie. If ceptic park didn't have poles, ibrokes Park would be worst away ground in Scotland
Beales decision was brave and 100% correct. But Tillman was on the ground injured when that ball was put out, he didn’t think he was doing anything wrong. What great composure for the finish though 👏🏼 feel bad for him cos he wasn’t trying to cheat he didn’t even know why thistle had a throw, and tbh he should have had a free kick in the 1st place. Thistle kicked the boy all over the park, ref was shocking, both penalties were a joke 🤦🏻♀️ well done for doing the only fair thing, no1 wants to win a game like that, or lose it like that. Tillman is some player though 😍 we’re thru so let’s leave this shambles of a game in the past….and Partick thistle to sack their manager straight after the game when they gave rangers more of a game than most of the SPL teams is shocking!

The handball rule has to be seriously looked at. To give a penalty when there is absolutely no intent. He wasn't even looking had his back to it,not aware of anything and about 6 inches away from the ball. How are you meant to get out the way of that?
handling has been made an overly complicated law for a decade +. "unnatural position", hand to ball vs ball to hand, protecting yourself (groin/face) or not... the lawmakers have really botched it, along with offside. total overthink.

Their fans were absolutely amazing last night and they played their socks off. An edge of your seat match and could've genuinely went either way. Tillman was battered the entire game. Stamped on, assaulted to the ground and they harp on about sportsmanship. No, Beale let them hammer throwers score to protect his own players from serious injury as they had lost their discipline.

Tillman tried to pull a fast one, and when it didn’t wash with Thistle, Beale had no alternative BUT to do what he did.. because if he didn’t, Rangers would’ve been torn apart all over the footballing world. What’s left of their reputation would’ve taken such a hit they probably would’ve never recovered.
They broke the fair play to begin with they had no choice but to give them a goal back.

I watched that in slow motion - couldnt see any stomp - what are you smoking? Sand's collided with him and Malik did the smart thing and went down to make sure he was alright and wastes a few seconds.

Great of Partick to have a go and make a game of it, but there’s a heap of red flags in this game. First of all that ref shouldn’t be a referee. Absolutely howlin decisions for both penalties. Second, the Partick player who stamped on Tillman should have been shown red and holt should have been off for what he done to Tillman after his goal. No other team in the league system allows another team to equalise after that, especially the green and grey across the city. Beale has shown a class that no other manager would have the balls to show.
Well done to Partick! They did excellent against the old firm. Make everyone remember that there is more to Glasgow than the old firm

they werent giving the ball back..... he literally called a man as he took the throw in from his teammate, looked up had at LEAST 1 full second to react to tillman who was a good 10 ft away. theyre pissed off that they got caught slacking and couldnt take the heat of ibrox. PERIOD.

From highlights alone, the weaker team got through. A pretty flukey, scrappy late header makes the difference. Not just technically stronger and more hard pressing Thistle but would've been amazing for non-OF teams to advance through tournaments. Hard luck, Thistle!

Both penalties were daft decisions.. first one was never a handball, he had no idea where the ball even was and it was 30 cm from him when it was hit at him and the second one was way outside the box on the initial contact and not a foul either way.. If a stmirren player 'handles' the ball Vs Celtic with players behind him it's a var straight red. When čolak does it, he stays on the pitch and everyone questions why it was given. Means we should have had that grieve penalty given in the first half as well.

None of the penalties should've been given! If Colak IS classed as a hand-ball, then why none against Goldson the last THREE times he has handled it? The Rangers pen not even in the box .. & no VAR check? When England should have had their first penalty against France, it was denied because the initial contact took place outside of the box and so did not come under VAR. On the basis of that ruling at the highest international level this one should not have been a penalty but a free kick as contact occurred outside the box. Hope the lad did not get booked.

@Fabio Martingez Neither were penalties, but it wasn't a dive. VAR has been a farce up here, part-time refs with super slow-mo has shown itself to be a disaster for all parties. Imo its time all clubs/fans come together and demand better full-time officials, the constant bickering about decisions devalues the Scottish game.

Cos Beale told him to let it in. Was a great show of sportsmanship after a misunderstanding with the Tillman goal. He didn’t know Thistle were planning on giving us the ball back cos he didn’t see the ball being put out when he was down injured, so he played like it was a normal throw.

Nobody had a clue what was going on. It was the correct thing to do. Another game where VAR made a mockery of the game, neither of the decisions were penalties.
@Mojo Risin in the fullness of the game, the refereeing decisions were inconsistent for both sides and it appeared we'd been asked to allow it...I personally was booing the officials, when one of the other supporters informed us minutes after that it was Beales decision I and others agreed it was the right thing to do. Fair play to the Partick players and their fans for bringing an enthusiastic support...put most of the premiership teams to shame.
