Tourism For Tomorrow Awards Finalist | The People of Desert & Delta Safaris

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a finalist in the 2017 World Travel & Tourism Council Tourism For Tomorrow Awards in the people award category. We were selected for our ongoing management training program which educates, trains and supports local Botswana citizens in becoming lodge managers.
Due to the success of the program, Desert & Delta Safaris camps are 100% citizen managed and have been for several years. We firmly believe our lodge management team is the backbone of the success of our lodges as are the staff whom they manage on a daily basis. For our guests, staying at a locally managed lodge allows them to not only enjoy the countries diverse wildlife and natural beauty but also actively engage with its people, a fundamental part of the safari experience.
