Okay, so like, it's obviously impressive how clean everything is this early, especially for such complex vertical and horizontal writing, but I think the more impressive thing is how musically everyone is playing this early. It's just like a multicellular organism just all functioning on one wavelength together.

I don't even think many drumlines actually finish their shows completely or even play this clean(at least in my experience with Minnesota Percussion Association) especially if it's the first 2-3 show comps of the season

Some times the front ensemble part seems easy, and it’s the fact that there’s so many people playing at exactly the same time that makes it good… but then it’s crazy when they start playing hard fast parts… AND THEY’RE STILL PLAYING TOGETHER.
I don’t think its easy at all. 4 mallet stuff is never easy. I never did get a good grasp on playing with 4 mallets. I just wasn’t getting it.

has any wgi group ever broke 100 before?
No, that means everything is perfect, and that's exceptionally hard to do. It is impossible to score higher than a 100 (i believe, correct me if I'm wrong)
The only group out of dci and wgi to ever get a 100 was Carolina Crown Brass 2013
even thats not true; they only got a perfect score in brass, not any other category
although, ofc, bd 14 scoring 99.65 is basically 100

@Stretchwiz well that was a perfect 20 in brass and Blue devils has gotten a perfect 20 in the sub captions for Visuals throughout the years. But I believe their guard hit a perfect 20 in the the early 2010s.

I was in this competition! Not in pulse lol but I was in one of the high school drum lines. After we had performed we got to see all of the other bands play and oh my god, pulse’s show was INSANE. Getting to see that live was phenomenal and even from an okay perspective like the back side of the gym, it was still an absolute pleasurable experience. I don’t think I saw a single part where they were out of time. All of the drill, features, and visual elements were absolutely spot on and perfect.

Broken city got a 90 with 2 less minutes in the show, so it’s kinda hard to say who will win rn
Pulse is clean, but there's a big consensus that they're just that. That the shows are really vanilla and not interesting. Broken City came out swinging with extremely hard music and a captivating show, especially with mostly new members. They aren't as clean rn, but they have a higher potential ceiling for sure.
I LOVE PULSE SO MUCH what I would do to march I’m so ready for finals.
Yo @EMCproductions, did you know that Orange County Independent (OCI) is coming back for this WGI season? You should def watch their stuff they have a sick show! *Wink wink* (I am def not in OCI, no way) But in all seriousness I think our show design is insane, it would be a dream come true for you to react to it. I know you like seeing a clear story being told, and we've also got some cool props too!

Good morning! This is video #59 of me asking for a drumline gym made out of various marching percussion instruments, such as the tenor barbell, and bass dumbbells.
Pulse is phenomenal. I count three snares that I know for a fact played in the 2022, 2023 Blue Coats. Plus being one of the best baseline out there. “NICE”
