While in HS in the 60's I had a friend that had a Fury just like this one only in red and white. A great riding and fast car. It seemed huge and was great for double dates.

..Thank you for mostly focusing on these original, well-kept or well-restored cars :)...they represent what the cars were all about when they were built..the styling, the look, the technology, like a time capsule to when they were new...something a "rod" or "custom" can never do....not that I don't like "rods" and "customs", but I AM opposed to destroying original survivors or complete, outstanding restoration projects to "build" them....

Hmmm, brought back a few memories, like the '46 ford pickup my brother, then father owned. Never found the time unfortunately. Someone else took that task on. My neighbor, an elderly woman, who tried to learn to drive in a late '60's corvair. What I came to this site for was the '60 fury because I've been watching this guy in Canada with the you tube, 'coldwarmotors', where this guy has taken the 'frame' of a '59-'60 Dodge and has taken the body of a '60 Fury and now its becoming a very nice car. It has the same paint scheme, blue and white, although, not the motor. Also my brother had one of those late '50's cab over jeep and my father had a pickup and 'wagon jeep of the same era. Thanks for sharing.

The Jeep is very nice great job. A few more Tri-Fives wouldn’t hurt? I had a Corvair painted with the Yenko stripes two carb model. Drilled a hole in the trunk and filled it with ice and beer. Got lots of comments about my radiator leaking.

You gotta love how Chrysler-Plymouth has always lagged behind in the changing of the styles of cars for a year or so. The fins of the fifties... the huge size of the 70's..I hope they never fold...

“Take a look at these cars,” .....and we get fraction of a second zoom shots of a fantastic range of cars. We are already watching your video, we don’t want teasers, we want time to view each car. Learn to voice over and edit 2 second stills. Zooming and panning are the enemy of good observation and study. You are polite and give valuable time to the people you interview, but the program is about the cars. Show the cars while interviewing and talking. Your choice of cars and venues is always interesting, the information you present is incredible and the technical aspects of video and sound are superb. If you spent days viewing the cars zippy camera tricks might seem at fitting tribute to them, but please realise I am on the other side of the world and this may be the only chance I get to see and appreciate such rare cars.

The one thing I've learned about car cruises held in the street. If you have a car that you show there, don't leave your car alone. Quite a few times when the woman walk next to the car with the pocketbooks on their shoulders when they bend over to look at your car, they pocketbooks swing down and bang in to the cars. Ask them to remove the bags from their shoulders.

Rover did a great deal of work to the Buick engine for more revs. (metallurgy, cams, block casting etc). If you need a 215 up its a good choice. Check for sludge in lifter valley, likes oil changes regularly.

Re: Buick Rover engine. Rover did a great deal of work with metallurgy including the block casting, cams etc. to get the revs up. Worth choosing - goes from 215 cu in. up, but not las big as big US engines. Likes regular oil change. (lifter valley sludge)

Use one Quart of Marvel Mystery oil per oil change and you won't have to worry about sludge as it is a high detergent oil.

Never understood putting Chevy engines in everything, Ik the parts and ease of maintenance and everything but keep it Ford, keep it dodge instead of dropping a 350 in everything

Can't stand to see a chevrolet engine in a ford vehicle! The Ford truck was perfect until I seen that engine, nothing against chevrolet its just the intertwining of different brands
