I've been wanting to try dehydrating potatoes ever since I got my dehydrator, the Excalibur 9-drawer, as a house-warming gift last year. I've always made mashed potatoes fresh, but with the possibility of having lots of taters to store this fall, I wanted to try a new way to preserve and store them.
In this video, I'll try dehydrating mashed potatoes in 2 different ways: plain and with the skins. Of course the most important part is the taste test! And the taste test will be thorough, so stick around for the end. The kitchen tools I use are linked below:
