Yes you fight with yourself, but enough of me and "my washed out brain" and wasn't going into any kind of groups cause in my country at that time it was some kind of stigma, BUT Greco find his way out to fight all with his skateboarding and creativity. I like the movie. It is great, it also shows desolation and loneliness in LA, that megalopolis.
Jeremy Hammer AA and NA are almost identical. I know heroin addicts that go to AA and alcoholics that go to NA. And Greco was a crack addict as well. I'm in NA but go to AA sometimes
or maybe it illustrates how lonely you feel when you have not created a family with children at his age. PD and baker got high on their bullshit drugs and now they have the nerve to pity themselves for it

And also shows other side of California, specially LA, city where no one lives there, but everybody are going there. That vast space and emptiness.

I told him, "Yea, and there are two skaters who taught me how to skate alone. Jim Greco, and Tom Penny." Your friends aren't always going to be there to go skate with. There's a sadness in the brilliancy of these edits. Greco is a huge inspiration for me. He shreds harder now than when he did 15 years ago. Quoting the great Jay Adams, "You didn't quit skateboarding because you got old. You got old because you quit skateboarding."
@Chris Hollandsworth I identify real heavy with this statement- not to sound arrogant or pretentious like I’m a level above everyone else but rather just a completely different level or game entirely lol sometimes another planet but most of time just a different frequency I guess. ADHD/depression/GAD/SUD(opiates/cocaine/benzos etc) and sober for 9 months. Longest I’ve been clean since I first started smoking weed at 11 so I just pray that God willing I will never have to drink or use again and if I do that I survive and get another chance but I think I’ve used most of those up by now and I’m only 26. After my 10th OD I think something finally clicked and I realized I didn’t want to die like that. One love and God bless everyone battling their demons
