- A few weeks ago, I quickly developed a big intrest with chess, and now I can’t stop thinking about it! The strategy and the huge skill gap between beginner, intermediate, and advanced players is just fascinating. I’ve been diving into chess tutorials, learning about the basic strategies, openings, defenses, and of course, watching pro matches. My goal for now is to keep studying chess basic opening/middlegame/ending principles while attempting to climb the beginner Elo ladder as much as I can.
There are a ton of videos out there that are helping me attempt to understand , but I know I can’t do it all on my own. To really break through my self-taught limits, I’m going to need to learn from an actual chess teacher/ coach. My highest rating so far is 279 in Rapid-Aiming for 300 soon, and I’m determined to keep improving! But dang! 200-300 Elo matches is already getting tough! 🤣
I absolutely love the challenge of improving my Elo rating. Wins and losses are all part of the journey, and I’m here for it. Chess is such an awesome game, and if you haven’t tried it yet, I definitely recommend checking it out. You might just find yourself developing a big intrest in it like I did!
One little hiccup though: I’ve been trying to stream my matches on mobile, but whenever the game starts, the screen goes black, even though the main menu works fine. I’m working on fixing it, though, so I can stream my games for you guys soon.
The journey’s just beginning, and I’m excited to share it with all of you. Let’s see how far I can go!
