So sweet of you to share this! I'm sure it helps more than one person! :)❤️
Another great video! I expect nothing less! 😘 xx
I think is it excellent that you are making videos about school projects because many people will need help with this and so many people out there don't do videos like this because they think it is "not cool" excellent job 👍
Your so pretty! Nice vlog of you!
This is amazing xo
im sitting my A level product design exam on friday, im so nervous!! your pd sounds so different to mine, my written exam is all about manufacture and commercial stuff... welp

Good info..thanks for the inputs
I do Product Design but its quite different. Not exactly sure whether it is due to new exams or something else
Lena Invisible I am the last year with the old spec, so I think you are on the new A Level.
Soph Louise yeah I'm on the new spec. But was sure a lot of it had stayed the same exam. Oh well. This video has still helped a little thanks
Lena Invisible Don't you only have one piece of coursework you do in year 13?
Soph Louise No. I'm actually doing my coursework right now for my AS. Is similar to A2 but more than 1 product
@@SophLouise do you need a gcse in product design in order to do it in a level
Hi, thanks for this amazing video!!! I know this video was uploaded long time ago, I was wondering what was your exam board back then?

Greetings by Maria Thanks Maria!
Hi great video! For like coursework and exam prep, did you find it hard to balance it with your other subjects? x
HelloitsCherri No I actually find it puts less pressure on me, because it means I have less exams at the end bcuz of the coursework .
ye also for me, the coursework gets finished and handed in before my exams for other subjects really start so once finished with it, I only need to focus on exams etc.
Very Nice, like. Tfs
10,000th view :)
great video
Do you think product design is useful for someone who is interested with interior design
Great video Soph❤️ when are you starting fall videos?? 🍁
Tasneem Al Saqqar Thank you Tasneem💛 hopefully in a couple of weeks! Are there any fall vids you would like me to do? X
Soph Louise yay!❤️ can't wait 😊 and sure u can do diys, fall favourites, and Halloween costumes :)
I am in yr 11 going into sixth form and I chose business, financial studies and product design.Do a lot of other students take this subject or not as much. Also is the course worth taking?
Anime_Master X It varies per school, but there were quite a few of us in my class! But that shouldn’t be a factor tho, if you enjoy it take it no matter the class size:) If you enjoyed it at GCSE and love designing and making then I’d say it’s definitely worth it! I loved it as it was so different to my other A levels and allowed you to create a product you’re genuinely proud of
Mate being honest it is not worth it, Wont be useful if you plan to take business/finance/econs in uni. Some uni don't even accept DT product design eg Trinity in Dublin. You're better of taking another business subject or maths. I did product design Econs and business and I can't enter top unis due to no maths or they don't consider product design as a subject for requirements
@@imanwasli what about English lit history and philosophy
Soph Louise Gave you a like.

Hi I am in year 11 will do my gcse this year . I am thinking about to do product designing in A levels, do you think it is possible to do in A levels even though I haven't picked up this subject for GCSE?
You will have to check with your sixth form but for me I was able to do it with graphics GCSE, so it depends if you have a similar GCSE :)
@@SophLouise i didnt do product design at gcse but because i did art and a decent grade in maths. I was allowed to. Seeing as im in a similar situation to you where i didnt do it at gcse. Could you tell me how you found it and if it was hard to adjust to?
My experience doing it for 4 years (GCSE + A level) it's shit, go do an engineering course at a college along with some other practical ones if you want to know how to actually design things and not just do sketches of furniture.
/k/avalier Actually I’d say it depends on the individual and what they want to do in the future. For example, someone in my class went on to study theatre design at uni and as we were able to choose what route we took in the A-level her textile skills greatly helped her prepare for uni and aid her passion. I am currently doing an engineering apprenticeship and I am thankful I did Product Design A-level because it helped me learn different skills needed.
@@SophLouise to be fair it could just be my teachers aren't great or I don't get along with their way of teaching. I'm personally also going for an engineering apprenticeship and feel like I learnt more doing a few weeks work experience and a placement at a machinist training centre than I did throughout my A level. You're probably right about it depending on the individual though.
/k/avalier Yeah definitely! Also I know now they have changed the style of the A-level so personally I don’t think it is beneficial as there is no coursework the first year.
Hello I love your video, I hope we can support each other I'm new to UA-cam
