Trevor and Brock Reed show off their trophy room along with bucks that their brother Shane has taken also. Charles Boozer talks about his buck and turkey mounts. Jason Smith talks about his 2010 buck and more. Brady McCauley talks about they bucks he has taken and also his 2012 archery buck.
This is why I love leatherwoods outdoors, you guys aren't all to worked about antlers, it's about the memories, good times, and of course the meat!
I enjoy watching your videos so much I find my self rewatching most of them before my season starts, I enjoy your stories, keep it up!
Part of NY just started an antler restriction and I really appreciated this video. We have seen many small bucks the last few days that might not have got a walk in prior years. I am really looking forward to the years to come.

wow. i for one am very proud to call myself a fan of your videos. I am a longtime fan and I have to say, when ever we want new videos and give u guys ideas, you guys listen and give us what we want. If this was another channel, they would ignore our requests, but u guys r great. You treat your fans great and that is why I have the feeling I will watch the outdoors channel soon and see a commercial for a show for you guys coming soon. Really your videos are that good and you guys deserve it.

Portugal5698: I'm just down the road from you, actually about 50 miles east on I-88, I'm exit 19, last time I went to Bainbridge, (last year) I think you are exit 8 or 9. We don't have the poacher problem as bad, but definitely many road hunters. Though the only thing round here is does, I can count on one hand all the times I've seen a buck from the road in 30 years. We definitely need antler restrictions for all in NY state.

dont get me wrong, the book is absolutely gorgeous. It is probaby the most beautiful buck I have ever seen in my life and I really do mean it. Do deer mounts shrink just after 2 months or do they keep shrinking ever year?

they are skin mounts. Now that replicas are becoming more popular with catch and release fishing some of us may choose that route sometime in the future. Its all on preference.
Is it me or does John's buck look was smaller in the mount than the video when he harvested it. I know antlers shrink after the first 2 months, but your buck looks like he lost so much width.
Is Brady having that broken point fixed by the taxidermist? Where is his rifle buck from 2011?

wow. i just did the same today. I live in Bainbridge Ny and never seen anything big. Eveyrbody either poaches or shoots all the bucks in general. I either see spikes, 5 points and an ocasional 100" 8 point if I am lucky. But the dam neighbors I have kill everything in sight and dont leave anything. What county do you live in and how many acres do you hunt?

Hey do you think you can get the leatherwood crew together for a video to talk about tactics and tips for killing bear. My family has been hunting them for 21 years and we have only killed one and that was luck. There are a lot of bear where our cabin is but we just cant connect. Keep up all the great videos. Thanks
+Hunting & Fishing Pennsylvania well, we are not bear hunting experts since we have only gotten a few. Mostly, its just getting a bunch of guys and driving the woods and hoping for the best.
Hey guys at leatherwood outdoors, I have a taxidermist that can get ur deer back in 4 months and for 400 dollars he does great work in the northern Delaware area, thought u guys would like to know that since u live in PA
you drive bear? I live in Maine and Ive never heard of driving bear.
I wish all NY state hunters would watch this video, and see the pre and post antler restrictions examples you showed in your video. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would be opposed to A.R.'s. Where I hunt, we compare how big the "spikes" are.
pretty much just skinn out from the shoulder to the top of the head and tan the hide then insert a foam deer head and neck in to it then do ur deateling on the eyes and ears ect.
How many points is Trevor's bowkill buck and did Brady get that nontypical monster he got in Ohio mounted and scored?
Im not sure how many points trevors bow buck is. I think brady might mount it. I have yet to score it.

I agree my smallest big buck is a 113 and my largest is a 150 and those bucks look really big to be that size
The 160 looks alot like my 150 buck tall and heavy.

I can't believe he would wear a Dubois TShirt on camera. He has no shame. We used to own Dubois in football and wrestling. I'm from Clearfield, born and raised. All in fun guys. Love the videos. I'll be home from Iraq for Thanksgiving and Deer Season. Good luck this year.

reguarless, its still a beautiful buck. reminds me of a mule deer with that point off the g2. Next time one of you kill a big one and take it to the taxidermist, tell him to fill the skull cap with bondo so it doesnt shrink after its mounted.

5:25-5:35 my dad killed a big 9 at 9:10 in the morning 2years ago and this past hunting season I killed a nice 8 pt in the same stand but at 7:10, lolz pretty weird because it was only 20 mins apart from his deet and his dads deer:)

three points on one side. Without counting the brow tine. It used to be 4 points on a side.

I'd pass on a 4 or 6 pointer to get a big fat doe any day. Eats is better than decoration any day!

Got it. A nice fat basket 6 pointer back in 1986 when I was almost 18. Got a bigger 5 pointer in '08. Old buck, his teeth told the story. He was spry. Came by me chasing 2 young does. Horny old man! Surprisingly, he ate good! I had my doubts. But I aged that deer 7 days before processing. He was about 150 #'s dressed. Filled the freezer on one shot. I usually have to bag 2 to fill the freezer. The left shoulder was bruised. I shot that deer in the neck. The bruise was in the shape of a deer's head! Had a puncture wound in the brisket. Spry old man! That's one I'll always remember.
