Hey Hunter, only a few parts are made here in the states, including the frame. The trigger is made by RM, but the trigger bar, barrel, slide, firing pin, etc, are actually Arex Delta Gen 2 parts. The CEO of Rost Martin admitted this in several videos from Shot Show of last year AND in the comments of TFB TVs video on the RM1c, saying that "Arex in Slovenia helped us with designing this piece." The Delta Gen 2 came out first, looks almost exactly the same, and the RM1c and RM1s can take mags from the Arex Delta L, X, and M.
The chassis is made here in the US, as that is the actual serialised part. On another note, the Arex Deltas and the RMs all take CZ P10 mags, since they are the same mag body and all are made by MecGar.
This is an american license copy of the Arex Delta. Which is funny because Arex started with a P226 copy, and the Delta is a slightly modified Glock system.
100 percent does not fit Glock holsters. Where it is receiving the retention is from the tlr7-a. That is no different with those universal holsters that retain on the same x300 light.
You should do a video on the canik ls. I’d be curious to see what your opinion of it is. I have an mc9 and I love it, it’s been very reliable so far and I’m planning on getting an ls so I’d love to hear your opinion on it.
Yep, just gonna copy and paste my comment from a bit further down cuz I'm tired and lazy. Hey Hunter, only a few parts are made here in the states, including the frame. This gun is actually the "American" version of the Arex Delta Gen 2. The CEO stated in interviews @ SHOT last year that Arex "helped them with this piece." (Put this and an Arex Delta M next to each other, they're twins. RM makes the frame and trigger) Considering that the Delta can take CZ p10 mags as well as proprietary, and the Delta can take Rost Martin mags, this can probably take p10 mags
@ 100%. I own one. You can also tell as the striker protrudes out the back of rear slide plate as you pull the trigger - you can see the striker being tensioned as the trigger is pulled. That said, they do it in a much different way than Glock whereas the RM has an actual sear still (like a fully tensioned striker) while the Glock doesn’t. The trigger on the RM won’t make you miss a fully tensioned striker
I'm a big fan of the Delta Gen 2s. I have a Delta X tactical model and an M tactical model, and I bought a Rost RM1c (most parts are interchangeable, for the most part, but not all). I prefer the Delta tacticals cuz you get the threaded barrels and extra backstraps, but I have 900 rnds thru my Rost, 1200 thru the X tac model and 1600 thru M tac model. Cold hammer forged barrels with a lifetime warranty.
Except it's not. It's an Arex Delta. Rost Martin is owned by a Springfield Armory heiress and all they did was buy parts from Arex in Slovenia and "assemble" them here in Dallas with a re-branding. Pretty pathetic for a family with such a large firearm manufacturing background. There's no problem with making a clone (how many glock clones are there?) but be honest about your product. No one here in Dallas is falling for their stupid radio commercials either. Suck it Rost Martin. And the clown youtubers who peddle your products. "New kid on the block" is priceless...It's crazy how many lies are actually in the description of this video. Not your fault, they probably didn't tell you and you didn't do your research.
I have both an Arex Delta X and a Rost Martin. While the RM was definitely inspired by the Arex and the Arex people supposedly helped with the design (nobody is hiding that fact, btw. they are very open about it), they are very different guns in several key areas. They are not just rebranded Arex guns, and if you hold them both side by side you can see that very easily. Many changes to the overall design. The RM is the superior pistol, and fixes every single gripe I had with the Arex. Side mounted extractor instead of top mounted so your ejected brass doesn't hit your optics window like it does on the Arex; vastly improved grip shape and texture; slide serrations much improved and easier to rack; everything is rounder and less annoyingly angular. The flat faced trigger is much, much better on the RM than the Arex's ill-designed V-shaped trigger that is so bad Arex had to introduce a "self-correcting" curved aluminum trigger to stop your trigger finger from walking down the trigger face with every shot until it forces you to stop shooting and reset your trigger finger higher. The extremely poorly designed mag release on the Arex is gone, and has a much improved button now. The RM doesn't have the removable fire control group feature, but the improved trigger pull makes up for it. And the street price is still pretty good. Optic plates for most optics are available and cheap. Mags aren't expensive, and the RMC-1 can use the full length Arex mags, or the extended 19 and 21 round CZ P-10 mags without issue. The RM has been rock solid since I got it back in March. My Arex needed a little breaking in and had some failures to feed for the first hundred rounds or so, but after that was fine. I had to remove the optic on the Arex because brass kept beating the optic window and housing thanks to the top mounted extractor, so it's now an irons-only gun. I like both pistols, but if I were looking at both the Arex and RM, the RM is good to go out of the box and needs no modification to fix anything. Prices between the two are about the same. I still like my M&P's and CZ's better, though.

Two videos in one day we are getting spoiled
Get my BELT tomorrow! Hoping it adds a couple of inches to my hit factor…
Since I got radian afterburner my world with practice has changed
Looks almost identical to the GX4! Lol 😂 same trigger too….

Belt Bounty Battle…alliteration
Larger frame would be great
This takes cz p10 mags so czp10s mags should work on this gun
Follows the form facfor of the least ergonomic pistol on the market. Neat
Even my dentist hates when I floss. 😎
Reminds me of my cz p10s. Im interested

Thank God its not another Glock. Is the striker engaged or is it being pulled while the trigger is pressed.
It’s partially cocked like a Glock
@ Nooooo! Well it didn’t look like a Glock sear so I was thinking maybe we’d get lucky.
@@brianjkeeneReally? When he showed the sear it looked like it drops straight down like fully cocked design…

It’s hard to describe how much I don’t care about this gun (I guess I cared enough to comment tho)
@@Stanny936 Lol
I don’t care about the gun but I care about more quality HC sauce
It's because that holster sux and is over priced like hell
It's literally an AREX delta but I guess no one cares
This gun sucks
