I noticed how beautifully it has been filmed! You are leaving the other You Tubers behind…Broadcast quality in technicality and also content presentation! I have never played “tennis” in my life and don’t understand a thing of the games BUT keep playing Peter as it is doing you a power of good. Well done! Now if Michelin did driving shoes like that….NOW that might be really special..I can see those soft soles working and not as stiff or cramped as Piloti. 🤔😃😃😃😃😃😃R
I've always associated Michelin with tyres but the expertise they have is something that because of your video I see can be used for sports and footwear as its the same fundamentals just applied for shoes. Its incredibly cool. Thank you Michelin for allowing Ped this access and support so he can show us how far Michelin takes its design and engineering beyond tyres.
I have worked in the car industry for over 35 years and to see how a premiuim brand like michelin develop other products using their tyres is amazing Another great video from factory to the floor and how they market them also shows how good the product it is 👍🏓
Different video and enjoyable to watch. However parking outside Padium, you're supposed to Park in the parking bay Pete, not half the wheels outside the lines.🤣🤣
Oh dear, gone of the days of the universal Dunlop sand shoes for all sports except football (Australian Rules) in my case. They had to do for tennis, squash etc. Good one Pete, have learned a bit more. Cheers from DU.
Think Puma did something back in the 90s with the SpeedCat and Goodyear…not sure when Gumbies (Aussie shoe) started, but they’ve also been going for a while.
@@HX920 and, of course, I realised that Dunlop Greenflash were probably the original although not sure if that was actually linked to tyre technology or just a byproduct of rubber!
Recently got a pair of vivo barefoot shoes, just had a look at the soles and quelle surprise- Michelin. Had no problems walking around in the ice/sleet conditions today either, so I'd believe the claims of higher quality rubber compunds being used.
Loved the video found it amusing that you are in France talking about a French company but the hire car is a German running on Michelin tyres it’s probably an EU thing surely they could have got you a French car
Probably the best quality video I’ve had the pleasure of making, super proud of this film ❤
You're the best mate. So proud of this one too 🎥👍
Super high quality production this one, I’m not surprised you are both proud of it! Great work 👍
👍👍👍👍

Fantastic video guys, it's actually made me want to try out Padel! 🙌
Thanks mate. We can sort that 👍
as soon as a petrol pad video goes live, you click on it and like it 👌
I totally agree👌👌
because it's always good isn't it?
Love you guys 👊

Happy New Year, matey.
All the very best for 2025 for You, Tracey and the pups. 🙂
Same to you Bud 👍
Company called Gumbies do this too, have a great pair of flip flops that has more tread than some tyres I see on cars

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Love It, Love It, Love It, Thank You Mr. Petrol Ped ... 👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Very interesting Pete! I'll stick with my Converse for everything! 😜
😜😂
A very interesting insight into a game I have not heard of and the technology driven by Michelin to aid performance in another sport.
Love ❤️ your video. Wonderful foot wear.
Thank you!
Thought this channel was about cars? However I now want to have a go at Padel - thanks Pete. 👍😁
It is about cars but like to sprinkle some other stuff in there too. You should give Padel a go. It’s great fun 👍

Minding not to curb them wheels 😂
Parking on camera is tricky don’t you know 😬😂😂
I could be wrong, but pretty sure Puma did something similar with Goodyear years ago on their Speed Cats.
Makes a refreshing change.
👍
I would NEED a paddle as big as your joke one to play!😆🤣
😂😂😂
My Columbia winter boots have Michelin blizzak soles on them, love them
Nice 👌
That's nice to learn. You never think of the tech when you put on a pair of shoes.
👍
So, so, interesting! Thanks for sharing. Very well produced video as well. Just like Michelin, quality!
Thank you very much!
Great quality video 🙌
Thank you 🙌

Cheers David 👍
That was fascinating and very interesting 👍👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Yep, my Adidas Terrex trainers have had Continental soles for years - would be interesting to know which brand got into trainer soles first.
It sure 😬

I first played Paddle Tennis at Primary School 56 years ago, the tech has moved on a bit since…
First!! Evening all! Hope everyone has a great year ahead.
Same to you!

Nice 👌
Excellent film, now I want to buy some shoes to play a game I’m too fat to play 😂
😂😂😂
My bouldering climbing shoe soles are made from aircraft tyres, because they are so grippy.
Nice 👌
Michelin also collaborate with Shimano and their mountain bike shoes. Supper grippy...
So Michelin makes outsole for sports shoes. But what about shoes for drivers and enthusiasts? 🤔
Hi Peds
Hi 👋
And here we have some delicious food for the algorithm ;-)
Yummy 🤤
I saw nothing that couldn't have been handled in an old pair of Dunlop Green Flash 😄
😂😂😂
Good luck with the channel in 2025 👍👍👍
Thanks mate 👊

It was the only car the hire company had running Michelins 😂
Pirelli did this in the 1980s
Do you play all your racket sports left handed? Like the video.
Yep 👍 Although weirdly I play golf right handed 🤷♂️😂
@@PetrolPed I believe that is the case of a lot of left handed golf players
