This project was initiated by the Austrian-Czech Architectural Theorist, Jan Tabor & Anna Soucek, in collaboration with Klangforum Wien. The graphical score was created whilst I was completing my masters in architecture with Zaha Hadid at di’angewandte in Vienna.
Exploring states of UTOPIE - Fictions, artistic states, fantasies, the collaborative and mixed media exhibition and performances sought to imagine how a new capital city could be initiated in Europe, one that could be given a kiss to initiate it, with a sense of purpose and unity. In many ways, it feels like this piece grew a city inside my soul instead, as my inward journey became more important than an actual physical city.
The live performance was in Czech Republic, kunstkolchose kkm25 in mulkovice bei znaim, including 2 performances and interpretations of the graphical score, with 'variation andante' - Gerald Preinfalk (tenorsaxofon) 'variation kantate' - Franz Gürtelschmied (tenor)

Composer 🎼 I’m an artist living in the beautiful country of Austria
I love to create music that is multifaceted, with polyphonic beauty and uses proportions from visual elements like renaissance architecture or ancient chakra wisdom.
My music is composed to move and touch the emotions, even if the mind can’t quite grasp its style.
Compositions like these are marvelous to hear live in a concert, to be in touch with the incredible artistry of musicians that are able to bring these works alive. All my music owes its presence to these talented people, who can bring my manuscripts, sometimes requiring much practice and patience to interpret the mystery that is not actually written on the page, but written between the notes and in the ether.
I’m glad that you share with me in the discovery of new sounds and music that is possible in this new era.
