- Oldsmobile was the innovative manufacturer at General Motors in the 1950's. Cars from these years were known for being flashy, well-built, durable and of high power.
The Oldsmobile year 1953 saw more ground-breaking improvements, featuring the Autronic Eye, power brakes, power steering and an A/C system named 'Frigidaire'. 1953 was another major step forward for Oldsmobile. If you're a fan of classic cars, then be sure to check out the 1953 Oldsmobile and cover 'New Territory'!

I have seen a 1953 Oldsmobile on UA-cam that had factory air conditioning, and it still works. If A/C cost an extra $550 in 1953, that factors out to $6,162.68 in 2023 dollars. I wonder what percentage of 1953 Oldsmobiles had factory A/C?
When Oldsmobile made station wagons in 1957, they were called the Fiesta. My dad had a 1958 Oldsmobile Fiesta station wagon, and it was our first car with factory air conditioning.
I have always been an Oldsmobile man. I have loved them ever since I was a kid ! Thank you for this video !

My Dad Worked For Oldsmobile 30 Years in Lansing Michigan.
I really liked your video, especially the convertible and two-door hard tops! The two-door sedans remind me of my Grandpa's '53 Pontiac. Thank you for uploading and sharing such a great video!!
