Hi ATT ... anyone actually purchased through these kickstarter schemes before? Am sure I've read somewhere that even if you purchase through the scheme there's no guarantee that you'll receive said item ... which obviously is a bit disconcerting! Still unsure of Awol vs Formovie vs this as they all have they're attributes.

Great news that the fans are low sounded,just tried a Epson ls800 and the fans where like a hair dryer at times👀👀.May try one of these soon

Is the ls 800 really that loud? 19-32 db noisy?
@@soopy1975 It was on the one I had a demo on!! I do think they had it on the brightest setting and had been on for a few hours
I decided to give it a go: this seems a lot brighter than my Wemax Nova and I just couldn’t shell out $600 more for the Formovie. Other desirables include 4 adjustable legs (Wemax has 2) and a faster boot time. I’m kinda surprised you said it’s pretty small considering it’s bigger in every dimension than the Nova, but perhaps I’ve been spoiled in that department?
Did you buy it and if yes then let me ask you what is your review of the projector? I am planning on going for this one as well but scared because of this new brand that no one has ever heard of.

@@cymonophori9998 i pulled the trigger and bought it. I am very happy with the purchase. The HDR can be a bit lacking before calibration. Post calibration this thing rocks. I am watching some very old films in 4k and the picture quality is too notch. I use a very cheap projector canvas and the result is still amazing. I can only imagine how it must look on an expensive ALR screen.
@jaidev22 did you get it professionally calibrated and what's your location? Dedicated theater or living with lots of light. I'm trying to get it for my living room. And will be buying an ALR screen. Stuck between this and formovie or a samsung tv right now. I'm bias to big screens.

@@cymonophori9998 yes i have an acquaintance who does this professionally. I watch it only at night so no day light issue for me. ALR screen will b the best investment.

True 4K? So none of these UST projectors are 3840x2160?
They are 3840 x 2160 but to achieve this they use pixel shifting technology. It still looks like 4K
@@allthingstech ....and they've gotten so good at it that I don't think Epson is EVER going to use an actual 4K. It will forever be pixel shifting because it's so much cheaper and creates almost the same result.

Stop questioning pixel f@#& shifting I’ve seen true 4k projectors 1 feet away streaming raw 8k videos, unless u have microscope you not going notice difference n honestly it’s sharper image then true 4k
