I really enjoy your walk throughs. You understand that the inside is the most important, because if you don't like the inside there's no point in looking at all the fancy stuff on the outside.
I love Aliners. Hard walls vs tent makes this a great option for my family in cooler temp areas or areas with dangerous critters out at night. I like that level of protection for my 3 kids vs a tent camper. I'd like to see Tern Overland pop out dual pane windows at the dormers so we could ventilate even in a rain storm. I like off road tear drop trailers but my wife wants a toilet and those tiny trailer simply cant have one inside. This solves alot of my problems. I also like that they took a page from the Australian camping handbook with the pull out outdoor kitchen. I need to do an actual camping review video on this model.
Have you ever seen a bear ripp a car door off?. I dont think any camper will withstand bears tearing it up unless you get an off grid metal box campers
@@beverlybalius9303 Against bears, probably your only real option might be to have a van of some sort. As soon as those claws start ripping through the metal, leap into the driver's seat and floor it out of there.
@B Annoying I don't think it's about being eaten. It's more about being more protected than with soft nylon. A hard wall gives you "time" to react because nothing on earth just really just eats you without sniffing you out first. With a hard wall you have more time to grab bear spray or a pistol. Works well with 2 legged pests as well.
@B Annoying it has nothing to do with being scared to sleep in the woods. Its about being prepared especially if you have little ones (maybe your grandkids) I'm assuming you don't have alligators or crocodiles in your state?
Compromises have to be made for an A Frame camper to sleep 4 adults. I think this is well executed. Bring a shelter along if you are worried about the outdoor kitchen. I'm also sure you could figure out some kind of privacy curtain for the toilet. At least you don't have to venture into the dark for that midnight bathroom run. Especially for small children. One question though....can you open the bottom half of the door when the camper is folded down?
I love PJ and I love Aframes, but the outdoor kitchen is a big negative for me. What if it rains and you want to cook, or even just get a drink out of the refrigerator??
@Illinois Gun Pros: Agreed. First reno I would do would be to change that bunk over the outdoor kitchen to a) have an access door to the fridge and b) use as a desk and more prep area for that teeny tiny 'vanity sink'/kitchen for rainy/freezing temp days. The next would be transforming that toilet into a foldable bathroom with shower - my two major beefs with this design. Otherwise I do like it!
No big deal. Construct a tarp cover or buy a suitable cover from a camping store and you should be fine. My concern is for the capacity and convenience of the cassette toilet.
@@GeoffreyRogg survival x pro for getting filtered water through unknown water sources & youre all set with the water regard. Just get a gas camping stove. You can even by one of those cheap little floor mini refrigerators at Walmart and just stick it inside. But yes there should be an option if you want an inside stove and fridge.
If raining then plan for a Plan B. There's always a good Plan B. Hotplate, Foreman Grill, 17" Blackstone, ect. I like this unit and you definitely can't beat the weight for towing!!!
I love it hopefully they will offer the outside kitchen with a king size north-south bed . I do see where all the space is being used so it might not work
It's an interesting camper. PJ of course, is GREAT! Her presentation is smooth, detailed, informative, and knowledgeable. I do agree with "Illinois Gun Pros" - what if it is raining and you want to cook something, or access the fridge for a cold one? Overall, I LOVE Aliner Campers!
You can access the fridge on the inside by lifting the “bunk” mattress and opening a hatch beneath it. I’m sorry the footage of that hatch wasn’t included in the video. It should have been.
@@PrincessCraft now I like it a little bit more! You guys should include a small single or double burner portable cooker just in case somebody has no other choice but to cook inside.. Or maybe some type of awning connected to the camper that could cover the outside kitchen just in case.? Just a suggestion that's all!
@@PrincessCraft Thank you for your quick and informative response. I have been told that there is a Princesscraft dealership in Inverness, Florida - approx a 2 hr drive from my location. There may be an Aliner dealership over there, but we only have one location... in Texas. But, we deliver! You’re welcome to check with our sales team to see what they can do for you! (512) 251-4536
I like the goal that Aliner had with this new model, but this is a poorly designed layout compared to the closest competitor, the Chalet XL 1920 A-frame that has been around forever. The Chalet XL 1920 family model also sleeps 4 (or even 6 with the extra wide bunk beds) but unlike the Aliner it has an indoor pop-up wet bath so you get a bathroom with a shower and some degree of privacy, and has a proper kitchen with more counter space, a two basin sink, and a large actual refrigerator with freezer. So you can actually camp in the Chalet in inclement weather. If you want to cook outside with the Chalet there is a propane connection on the side that you simply jack your propane stove into.
What about in the winter? And how safe can this be really? There is no magical compartment you can open and fold like you do with seating areas inside. That’s not good! 😔
So, let me get this straight. It's honking it down with rain, you're starving but you have to cook outside. However should you need a dump, it's ok you can do that indoors while everyone else goes outside to get away from you. Still LMFAO at that one. Why not provide a toilet tent & put the cooker indoors!
You can lift the bunk bed and access the slide out kitchen from inside. Also, if you have access to electricity, you can use electric oven/induction cooker inside. Save the toilet for rainy days though.
Not for England, we can only string two dry days together in a year. Lol, and considering most uk camping sites are well used I think the outdoor shower would prove a source of entertainment for other campers. Not for us I think. Xx
Now I like the style of this pop up. I would have the hard shell/ front and back. Like all the hard room too. I'm 4'11" sweet camper. As always thanks. Like the pill out kitchen too. Maybe yall can add new color??? Black and burgundy. 😘💜✨💜
No stove or refrigerator inside.? Don't get me wrong this camper is beautiful, but they shouldn't have named it the family model. It's more of a fraternity road trip model!

I can't see this type of camper lasting more than three seasons. Nice concept for a lightweight trailer for easy towing. I would buy one to tow across the country and depending on how well it stood up to daily setup and take down.
Had mine for ten years and loved it. Then over the summer a large oak tree fell on it and crushed it. Never had any issues with mine. And i plan on getting another one very soon.
Looks good but I would like to cook inside instead of outside I would like to have a restroom inside with a shower not outside. It looks big enough to have all of that inside but it doesn't
Aliner should make great improvements when it comes to quality control. If they continue to offer a product that easily falls apart, word will get around.
Don't know the price point but it is kind of like Aliners take on an Australian Overland series camper but I agree with the others on here if anything it should have inside kitchen with optional outdoor kitchen and toilet shower. Very confusing hodgepodge interior.
I was too, When you look at the smaller Aliner LXE. That has a built in full bath and shower. Inside kitchen with microwave. You have more year aroundish camping. Some mornings would be a little cold to stand outside and cook.

I hate to sound harsh but this family model is a shell with acres of black plastic seating, like a tent. Dislikes: outdoor kitchen when it rains or anytime I want to use the kitchen, no shower (this company used to drop in the wet bath unit like in pop ups), no gray holding tank, sleeps too many for such a small space, and just where oh where do you put clothing, jackets, shoes, food, bedding, wet towels, or dishes for 6 adults in this thing? Likes: I'm working on it.
The only thing with the outdoor kitchen is.......what if it rains? What if it rains for a couple of days? Are you supposed to stand out in the rain to cook your meals? Plus, you have to pull the outdoor kitchen all the way out to get to the fridge. With all the space inside of this thing, are you telling me they couldn't put a small kitchen inside? This particular model isn't very practical.
I'm disappointed with the interior, and the cushion foam seems to be light and cheap. The switch panel is problematic in our Classic as it is easy to hit when crawling into the sleeping area. I can't imagine that putting it, and it's bright red light right into the sleeping space would be an improvement. The slide out kitchen uses up much of the available front storage, looks heavy, and is only the equivalent of a Coleman stove and a cooler. The fan is up so high, that a step stool will be required to operate it. It should have a control switch mounted lower. The KoolCat also uses up much of the rear storage and is unsuitable for more extreme climates like Minnesota where we camp in our Classic. Much better to have a furnace and a side mounted AC unit. They don't stick out much farther than the TV side mirror. Happy to see that they have finally included a hand grip by the door.
When are these designers going to create a livable space? Love the hard side, foldability but I would think that in 18 feet they could give a full space with a foldable walled bathroom and at least a counter space for a portable stove and Frig. No way do I want to be forced to prepare all food outside.
Aliner LXE had all of that and it was "smaller". Yet it had full bathroom with shower inside. And kitchen that had a microwave, 2 burners, and a fridge that had a freezer. Not one or the other like this one seemed to be.
I wanted an Aliner for a long time and finally purchased one a year or so ago. Two big issues. Inside under seat air conditioners units are nearly useless. Don’t know if it’s design error or just to small(BTU’s) but in temps above 85 it’s unbearable. For such a small space this is unacceptable. One would have thought this would have been a basic thing they would check pre production! I’m not sure if it’s the same for the units with a/c mounted on outside. And this is a problem even in the shade. Number two. Don’t drive in the rain!! It’s leaks. No problem when set up but will get wet inside if you travel in rain. No maybe about it: it will leak. I have owned numerous campers in my life and although I love the space and design I would never purchase another.)
Why doesn't this have a indoor shower. It wouldn't take much to have a wet bath with a shower curtain that is attached when up and detached when closed
The only problem that rv companies haven't fixed yet on campers is the cookware are to small.. can't really use both burners do to the burners being to close to each other. Sense they haven't fixed the issues. It's basically a waste
Doesn't look like they have the recipe just right yet. The outside kitchen looks like an afterthought compared to other outdoor kitchen features available. Also, no external lights on the side? Would be nice if aliner added some speakers and Bluetooth. Hide them under a side grill...

Why doesn't this have a indoor shower. It wouldn't take much to have a wet bath with a shower curtain that is attached when up and detached when closed
It is tow of my honda crv exl?
We would not recommend towing this with a Honda CRV.
Pretty cool!
Great video thank you
very beautiful. i like it.
The only problem that rv companies haven't fixed yet on campers is the cookware are to small.. can't really use both burners do to the burners being to close to each other. Sense they haven't fixed the issues. It's basically a waste
How much is the price
Doesn't look like they have the recipe just right yet. The outside kitchen looks like an afterthought compared to other outdoor kitchen features available. Also, no external lights on the side? Would be nice if aliner added some speakers and Bluetooth. Hide them under a side grill...
shipping too Denmark. we dont got these cool campers, we only got the regular ones :(
Weird, no inside cooking?
This design completely resolves my biggest complaint with the A-frame design... the limited vertical space.
And it makes it feel twice the size!! Bonus!!
can you haul kayaks on top of it?
Ask Slim Potatoehead sp? on UA-cam
What’s the price tag on this unit
They are running around $25,000, depending on the layout and options. Give us a call at Princesscraft RV if you want more specifics.
Do these windows have screens? Very much like your presentations!
Great camper.
thisis my dream Trailer
How mach this hom?
You would think they would have moved that power cord plug in farther away from that outdoor shower that looks a little dangerous
Curious at the cost vs small camper etc.
Like any good salesman will tell you when you ask the price. It's only $350 a month lol
It costs around $23,000
for 23000 i would just get a casita
How high is the inside measurements. My husband is 6'5"
The interior peak height is 8'5".
