If based on that pic, that lineup was from the week of July 22-26, 1974. Two months later, "Charley Weaver" (Cliff Arquette) passed away. I wonder if this record inspired or was inspired by the double album of segments from "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" that Casablanca put out (and nearly drove them to bankruptcy).
George Gobel only has ONE joke on here. I have this album. He's at about 39:23 in. Shame they didn't include a couple more of his, but he really didn't get rolling until after he replaced Charley Weaver. 🫡☮️
I used to watch the show when I was a kid but I completely forget what was the point besides giving Paul Lynde free rein to be as racy as possible. Were all those quips correct answers...? It's still great fun though
