I made my own out of 30 series extrusion. everything else is basically the same. I didnt have enough height, and have been trying to figure out the best route to get that accomplished. I will now be converting over to strut. Thank You soo much.
Another great build. Something to look forward to building in the future. Definitely budget friendly. Looking forward to future projects and builds that are buried in your mind. Keep up the great job.
Great build for your community. You are always thinking of us. I'm sure you are going to use it for more than just your molds. Looks very versatile. Thanks for the video. Be blessed. My friend.
Awesome build Adam!! Just be careful of that lever, I was worried when you leaned over you were going to engage the vise again by pushing the lever forward. We definitely want you to keep all 8 fingers!!! 🤣
Adam, this is a stellar video!!! I love build videos like this!! I dont need an air vice, but i really want to build one now!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
I was somewhat interested. Started watching. You had me at “saws-all”! Looking forward to seeing you make baits with your new air vice. Can’t wait. God Bless.
Thanks Michael! Those weren’t quite done… tubing connects them so I can run cold water through them to keep the molds around room temp. I found them on a bait making/mold related Facebook group. The blanks, surprisingly, you can find either by going to metal providers online or… I was surprised to see how many plates were available on Amazon! Lots of different sizes, go figure!
Great job! Pretty neat to see my website on your video!! I seen a comment of you saying something about in air pressure, all mine come with their own regulator and are preset to 80 psi! Now mind you I use twin cylinders but at 80 psi my vises will apply 327 pounds of force!!
That's awesome brother I made my own a few weeks ago with some aluminum plat plates and a old hydraulic system I cleaned out all the oil and got the valve off Amazon I think I got $15 in it lol thanks again triple j baits
That is awesome. It looks like you could remove the inlet tube fitting on the switch to just a 1/4npt air fitting. Air fitting to make thread. Assuming it’s 1/4 inch.
Thanks man! That may be possible, yeah. Not sure if its 1/4" (certainly is for the tubing), but a definite possibility (also assuming there's room between the two "outlets" on either side.
Wow! That thing is Awesome!! Your going to get a lot of use out of it. Also Great Video and thanks so much for the shout out. I really appreciate that 👍🏻
Don’t ever sell yourself short brother !! …coming from a seasoned fabricator / maintenance tech of 30 yrs who’s made his own tools out in the field ,, adapted parts from scraped equipment, hooked together 4 different sized fittings to make something work … cross threaded a metric bolt into an sae nut because you had to make something work in a emergency(because Home Depot and Amazon don’t deliver in the field ) I say YER AH PRETTY HANDY DUDE !! That’s a Super Sweet Set Up Mr Sir ❤ 👊🤙🏆. ( only thing I’d add ) at the back is a thin piece of teflon between rails and the clamp that slides … drill a hole in it run the bolt back thru .. the teflon shim will help it slide up an back better than the metal on metal… ( just a thought )👊
Nice Job!!!! Yes I will be building myself one and will take pictures and will tag you in on the build. And where did you get your cooling plates? Keep up the great work and my GOD BLESS.
@@ChrisWaldon-qm4mz thanks man! Regarding the triple, it really depends on the bait (body shape, etc). That said, I’ve successfully tripled a 7.5 Swimbait and even 7.6 Whip Wad.
Thanks for the video, as always a big help. One question, what hp and flow is the air compressor did you hook to the air vise? Keep up the great videos.
Thanks Ted! In the video the tank pressure was a bit over 100 and the regulated/line pressure was 50. I’ve heard from more experienced vide users that may not be sufficient when clamping a lot of molds for a big run… they suggested a regulated pressure of 100 as well. I plan to experiment a bit as I don’t want to risk pinching any super low tolerance vents.
Nice build video! BTW-has the Lure Works brand of colorants gone out of business or sold to another company? They seemed to have disappeared from the Spike It website.
the new site is nice but it is laid out a little different. I was confused when I went to the site today because I had just placed an order last week. and I was confronted with change
Crappie baits only, you can get away with a 4oz dual. That said… if you have multiple molds that you’d like to shoot at the same time or you think you’ll ever get into bigger baits, a 6oz would be better and isn’t that much more expensive. I ran a 6oz dual for a LONG time, it was great (have dual 8’s now). Highly suggest N2 Manufacturing as they make top quality stuff! You can find them at the N2 website or at Barlows: barlowstackle.com/n2-dual-injector-kits/?afmc=et
@SDGCustomLurecraft Yeah that's what we in the biz call them lol I didn't get to finish the video yet but I will tonight it sounds like you have a good idea I build and maintain things like this for a living
Let me know below if you plan to make your own! If you do, and you take a picture for social media, tag me! I'd love to see your design!

@ my pleasure man!
Awesome build of an automated finger eater!
LOL! I’ll do my best to keep em
Clear!
What a nice build. It is very satisfying to hear it open and close. Great job, Adam.
100% agree, QUITE satisfying 😁. Thanks Lee!
An educational video, it turned out great.
Congratulations on a nice build, fits well with the shooting star.
Have a good day everyone.👏

Awesome job! You made that as simple as possible and a great job explaining the build. Thanks once more for sharing.

AWESOME JOB Thank you! I see my GoTo mold will arrive tomorrow can't wait to use it. 😊
Thx man! Hope USPS makes good on their estimate! I’ve had a few molds that were 2-3 late, killing me!
@SDGCustomLurecraft it's moving, but I will let you know.
Your life just got better!!! Awesome!
Thanks man! Excited for the first run!
Dude!! I have no need for anything like that, but what a great video! Job well done. Very entertaining and works perfect!

Thanks David! Cooling plates came from a guy on Facebook, he CNCs and sells them with all the fittings 👍👍

Thanks man!
Lol help a fellow bait maker out and make me one and ill pay you sometime Adam. Nice work I love it
